       To all to whom these presents shall come  Know Ye that we the within
       named Daniel Mildred Lydia Mildred his wife Daniel Roberts and Amelia Roberts
       who have signed Sealed and executed the within Instrument of Writing have made
       ordained constituted and appointed and by these presents do make ordain constitute and appoint
       John Smith of the province of Maryland in the United Stats of North America and
       Thomas Smith late of London now residing in Philadelphia or elsewhere in the United Stats
       aforesaid as our Lawfull Attorneys and we do hereby Authorize and empower the said
       John Smith and Thomas Smith and each or either of them jointly or severally for us
       and in our names to appear before some Judge of the General Court or two Justices
       of some County Court within the State of Maryland aforesaid and there for us and in
       our names to acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be our act and Deed
       and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned with the appurtenances to be the
       right and estate of the within named Daniel Hughes and Samuel Hughes there
       Heirs and assigns for ever agreeable to the Acts of Assembly of the State aforesaid
       in such cases made and provi^d^ed  In Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed
       our names and affixed our Seals this Seventeenth day of October One thousand seven

          Thomas Whebell Clerk to M.r Cromwell of Essex Street in the Strand in the County  
       of Middlesex in the Kingdom of Great Britain Maketh Oath and Saith that he this
       Deponent was present as a Witness and did see Daniel Mildred of Fenchurch street
       London in the Kingdom of Great Britain aforesaid Banker and Lydia Mildred his
       wife Daniel Roberts of London aforesaid Merchant and Amelia Roberts of Bath
       in the County of Somerset Widow severally sign and Seal and as their respective acts and
       Deeds deliver the parchment writing hereunto annexed being or purporting to be
       an Indenture bearing date the sixteenth day of this Instant Month of October and made
       between the said Daniel Mildred by the description of Daniel Mildred of Fenchurch
       Street London in the Kingdom of Great Britain Banker in his own right and
       as their Sole Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Roberts late of the same
       place Merchant deceased and Lydia Mildred the wife of the said Daniel Mildred
       the said Daniel Roberts by the description of Daniel Roberts of London aforesaid
       Merchant the eldest son and heir of the said John Roberts and the said Amelia Roberts
       by the description of Amelia Roberts of Bath in the County of Somerset the Widow
       and relict of the said John Roberts of the one part and Daniel Hughes and Samuel
       Hughes both of Frederick County in the province of Maryland in the United States
       of North America Iron Masters of the other part whereby they the said Daniel
       Mildred and Lydia Mildred Daniel Roberts and Amelia Roberts Did Give
       Grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto the said Daniel Hughes and
       Samuel Hughes one undivided moiety or half part of all and each and every the Iron
       Furnace and Forge lying and being in Frederick county aforesaid and also one undivided
       moiety or half part of all and each and every the Tracts or parcells of Land therein
