176 Ex.d & dl.d This Indenture made this twenty eight Day of August in the Year of Our Lord Seventeen Hundred and eighty three Between John Darnal of frederick County Gentleman of the one Part and William Ritchie Clark of the Same County of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Darnall for and in Consideration of the Sum of four hundred and twenty five Pounds Current money of the State of Maryland to him in hand well and truly paid in Specie at the rates settled by law at and before the ensealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he the said John Darnall doth hereby Acknowledge and therefrom and thereof and of and from the Same and every Part and Parcell thereof doth release acquit and discharge the Said William Ritchie his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and each and every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold aliened released enfeeffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant bargain Sell alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the said William Ritchie his heirs and Assigns for ever All that Lott or portion of Ground in Frederick Town in Frederick County aforesaid which was sold and Conveyed by Daniel Dulany to John Darnall deceased father to the Said John Darnall Party hereto on or About the last day of April in the Year of Our lord seventeen Hundred and fifty two as by the Deed recorded in Liber B folio 551 & 552 one of the land records of Frederick County aforesaid doth Appear And which Lott was devised in fee to the said John Darnall Party hereto as in and by her said fathers last will and testement duly executed Prooved and recorded in the records of the late Preragative Court may Appear the Said lott Containing One hundred and twenty feet more or less in breath and three hundred and ninety three feet more less North and South in length and bounded on the East side thereof by and with the West bounds of the lotts laid out for Building a Court house and Prison on in Frederick Town aforesaid and bounding on the West side thereof by a lott of Ground which was laid out and Sold to the said William Ritchie by the Commissioners for the Preservation and sale of the Confiscated Property in the State though if this lott Confiscated does not join the lott hereby conveyed no Adventure to be taken together with all and singular the Buildings improvements profits Commodities priviledges easements Advantages whatso^e^ver thereon being or thereunto in any wise belonging or appertaining And the Preversion and reversions remainder and remainder rents Issues and profits thereof and of every part and parcels thereof And all the estate right title Interest property possessions Claim and demand Whatsoever of him the said John Darnall of in to or out of the same lott or faction of Ground and Premises and every part and parcel thereof To have and to Hold the said lott so as above described and Premises with its Appertenances to him the said William Ritchie his Heirs and Assigns for ever to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof and to or for no other use intent or fury of Whatsoever he the said William Ritchie his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns Yielding and paying the Yearly Ground Rents to wich the same lott is subject and Chargeable from and after the tenth of May seventeen hundred and seventy Nine to Such Person or Persons as shall be intlied by law to receive the same and at such times as the same shall become due |
