167 ever and to no other Use intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Thomas Bond and Catharine his wife for themselves their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that all all and singular the above discribed Lands and Premisses above Mentioned they will well and truly for ever hereafter Warrant and Defend against themselves Heirs and Assigns And all person and persons by from or Under ^them or^ any of them in the Quit and Peacible Enjoyment and Possession of the same and every part thereof And that also they ^the^ said Thomas Bond and Catharine his Wife shall and will at all times hereafter at all times make and execute any other Deed or Conveyance in Writeing by Lease and release or otherwise for the further Completion and assurance of the Title of said Lands and premisses to the to the said William Fell his Heirs and Assigns forever at the Proper Cost and Expences of the said William Fell his Heirs and Assigns In Witness Whereof the said parties do hereunto Set their hand and Seal the day and year first above mentioned Tho.s Bond Jun.r (Seal) Signed Sealed & deliverd Catharine Bond (Seal) in the presence off Received on the day of the date of these presents the sum of fifteen hundred pounds Current Money in full the Consideration Money within Mentioned Witness Tho.s Bond Jun.r Baltimore County fs On the 28.th day of July 1783 personally appeared The above Named Thomas Bond Junior And William Fell aforesaid before Us the Subscribers two of the Justices of said County and Acknowledged the above Indenture of Release to be their Act and Deed According to the true intent and Meaning thereof And the Lands and premisses within Mentioned to be the Estate Right Title and Interest of the said William Fell in Fee Simple And at the same Catharine the wife of the said Thomas Bond and being Examined by Us Privately and Out of the hearing of her said Husband and did Acknowledge the said Instrument of release to be her Act and Deed and did the same Willingly and Freely without being Induced thereto by Fear or threats of or Ill Usage by her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged before Geo Gould.s Presbury Tho.s Elliot Baltimore County to wit I hereby certify that George Goldsmith Presbury And Thomas Elliott Gentlemen before when the within Acknowledgments were Made and who have thereto Subscribed their names were at the time of the taking and Signing thereof and still are we of the state of Maryland Justices of the Peace for the County Aforesaid And to all Certificates by these given as such due forth and Credit is and Ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout County In Testemony whereof I have hereto set my hand Affixed the Seal Seal of my Office this twenty fifth day of October in the Year of Our Lord Recorded 28.th Oct.r 1783 One thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty three William Gibson Clk B Coty |
