Ex.d
             This Indenture made this Twenty Sixth day of October in the year of our
       Lord One Thousand Seven hundred & Seventy four Between Francis Sheppard of Charles County
       Planter of the one part and Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer of Ann Arundel County Esq.r of the
       other part Witnesseth that Francis Shepperd for and in Consideration of the Sum of Eighty
       four pounds Current Money to him in hand paid by the said Daniel of Saint^.t^ Thomas Jenifer
       the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged he the said Francis Shepperd hath granted bargained
       and Sold & by these presents doth grant Bargain and ^&^ sell unto the said Daniel of
       Saint Tho.s Jenifer his Heirs and assigns all that parcel of Land being part of Hudsons
       dissapointment now in Possession of the said Francis Shepperd & conveyed to him by deed
       of Gift from his Father John Shepperd containing Sixty ^Eighty^ four Acres with the hereditiments
       & appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtening and the
       Reversion and Reversions Remainder and ^&^ Remainders Rents Issues and profits of the
       Said Premisses and of every part and parcel thereof and all the estate Right Title Interest
       Claim and demand whatsoever of him the said Francis Shepperd of in and to the said Land
       and Premisses and every part thereof  To have and to hold the said Land and all and Singular
       the Premisses and every part thereof with the appurtenances unto him the said Daniel of
       Saint Thomas Jenifer his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said
       Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Francis Shepperd
       for himself and his heirs doth Covenant ^Promise^ Grant and agree to and with the said Daniel of
       Saint Thomas Jenifer that he the said Francis Shepperd & his heirs the above Eighty four
       Acres of Land with all and Singular its appurtenances be the same Comprized within the
       bounds and Limits above Expressed or in any other manner whatsoever and every part
       and parcel thereof against him and his Heirs and against all and every other person
       and persons whatsoever to the said Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer his Heirs and
       Assigns shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these presents  In Witness whereof
       he hath hereunto set his hand and & affixed his Seal the day and year first above
