             On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

             Received the date within writen of the within named Michael Pue the Sum of Seven
       hundred and Sixty pounds and Seven pence Current Money being the full Consideration

       Ann Arundel County Ss.t Be it remembered that the within named Thomas Dorsey
       came before us Two of the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietarys Justices of the Peace
       for the afforesaid County and acknowledged the within deed to be his act and the Lands
       and Premisses with their appurtenances thereby Bargained and Sold to be the Estate
       of the within named Michael Pue his heirs and Assigns for ever

                                                 I hereby Certify to all whom this may come or doth Concern
       that Henry Ridgely and Basil Burgess Gentlemen before whom the aforegoing Acknowledgement
       was taken and hath hereto Subscribed their names as such are at the date thereof and still
       are two of the R.t Honble the Lord proprietary Justices for Ann Arundel County afs.d
       duly Sworn and Commissioned and to all Certificates by them so given due faith is
       and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justices as thereout
