733 Ex.d This Indenture made this 19.th day of October in the Year of our Lord Christ One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four Between James Beall (son of James) of Fredrick County Maryland Planter of the one part and Alexander Edmonston Beall of the County and Province aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the same James Beall (son of Ja.s) for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifty pounds Current Money of Maryland by the same Alexander Edmondston Beall ^to the same James Beall^ before the Execution of these presents in hand paid the receipt whereof the same James Beall doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and discharge the same Alexander Edmondston Beall his Heirs Executors and Administrators for ever Hath granted bargained Sold aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Alexander Edmondston Beall all that tract or parcell of Land called the James and Mary lying and being in Frederick County Beginning at the end of one hundred and Sixty Six perches on the fourty fourth Line of the Original track of Land called the James & Maryland running with said Line North thirty seven degrees West One hundred and fifty perches North fourty eight degrees East Ten perches North ninty perches North thirty three degrees East Sixty perches South Twenty five degrees East Sixty two perches West twenty perches South twenty degrees East one hundred and fifty perches South fourty three degrees East Sixty perches East ninety perches North twenty six degrees and a half degree West two hundred and thirteen perches North Ten degrees west fourty perches South fifty nine and a half degrees East one hundred and Eighty perches South Seventeen degrees West one hundred and Eleven perches South Seven degrees West thirty four perches South thirty nine degrees West Twenty perches to Allen Beall part of said land then North ten degrees West fifteen perches West fifty perches South Twenty perches then with a Straight line to the begining and now laid out for one Hundred and Sixty Acres of Land more or less togather with all and Singular the Houses out Houses orchards Gardens woods underwoods trees and timber Trees meadowes water water Courses Tenements Hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever ^un^to the same hereby granted and Parcel of Land belonging or appertaining and the Reversions and Reversion Remainder and remainders thereof and all the Estate Right Title and intrest whatsoever of him the said James Beall party to these presents of in and to the same and every part thereof To have and To hold all and Singular the aforesaid bargained parcel of Land unto him the said Alexander Edmondston Beall his heirs and assigns for ever ^and for the proper use of him the said Alexander Edmondston Beall his heirs and Assigns for ever^ and the said James Beall and his Heirs doth agree with the same Alexander Edmondston Beall his Heirs and Assigns Doth hereby Covenant grant and agree with the same Alexander Edmondston Beall his Heirs and Assigns that the aforesaid herein & hereby granted & bargained parcel of Land with the premisses and appurtenances hereto belonging unto the s.d Alexander Edmondston Beall his Heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant and for ever defend from all person or persons Claiming from or under the said James Beall In Witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the day and Year above written James Beall (son of Ja.s) (LS) Sealed and dilivered in the presents of Jn.o Callaghan James Hodges On the Back of the aforegoing deed was thus Endorsed to wit Received 19.th day of October 1774 of Alexander Edmondston Beall within named fifty pounds Current Money in full for the Considerations ^of the^ within mentioned P James Beall (Son of James) Witness Jn.o Callaghan James Hodges On the 19.th day of October 1774 the within named James Beall acknowledged the within deed ^to be their act and deed^ and the land and premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title and estate of the within named |
