       thousand seven hundred and seventy four and made or mentioned to be made
       between the said James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife of the one part and the said
       James Tilghman of the other part and the Release bearing Date on or about the
       twelfth Day of July in the Year last aforesaid and made or mentioned to be made
       between the said James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife of the one Part and the said
       James Tilghman of the other Part the said Release reciting that the Fee Simple and
       Inheritance of and in an undivided half Part or Moiety of all that one Acre of Land
       scituate lying and being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid bounded as follows that is to
       say Beginning at a Locust Post on the North East Side of Scotts Street and running thence
       North West six perches and three Qua^r^ters of a perch to a Locust Post lately erected
       thence North forty one Degrees and one Qua^r^ter East twenty two perches to Severn
       River lying down till it intersect a North forty two and a half Degrees East Course
       from Scotts Street the place of Beginning and which said one Acre of Ground is
       that Lott or portion of Ground in the said City which James Reith deceased resided on
       at the Time of his Death was then lodged and vested in the aforesaid Elizabeth
       Williams party thereto and that the same James Williams and Elizabeth his
       Wife parties thereto were willing and desirous to settle and dispose of an undivided
       half Part or Moiety of the Acre or Lott or portion of Ground aforesaid and all and
       singular the premisses together with the Houses Buildings Improvements Liberties
       Priviledges and Advantages whatsoever to the same belonging or appertaining with
       its Rights Members and Appurtenances to the aforesaid James Tilghman his Heirs
       and Assigns to and for the Use Intent and Purpose therein after expressed and
       declared that is to say that the same James Tilghman his Heirs and Assigns
       shoud & woud within five Days next after the Day of the Date thereof at the
       reasonable Request Cost and Charges of them the same James Williams and
       Elizabeth his Wife or either of them by Deeds of Lease and Release or by such other
       good and sufficient Deeds Conveyances or Assurances in the Law as should by the
       said James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife or either of them or their or either of their
       Counsel learned in the Law be devised advised or required well and
       sufficiently convey assure make over and acknowledge the aforesaid thereby
       released premisses with its Rights Members and Appurtenances unto the same
       James Williams and Elizabeth his Wife for and during their respective natural
       Lives the Remainder to the Right Heirs of the same James Williams the same James
       Williams and Elizabeth his Wife for and in Consideration of the several Sums of Money
       therein respectively mentioned did grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm
