                         This Indenture made the seventh day of August in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand seven hundred and seventy three between Hugh Roberts of the City of Philadelphia
       in the Province of Pennsylvania Gentleman of the one Part and Bragadier General Haldimand
       of the City of New York Devisee and Executor of the last Will and Testament of
       Brigadier General ^Henry^ Bouquet deceased of the other Part Whereas the said Henry Bouquet
       in his Lifetime by the Name of Bragadier General Henry Bouquet did on or about the
       twentyeth day of June 1765 by Indenture convey and assure to the said Hugh Roberts and
       his heirs all that Tract of Land in Frederick County in the Province of Maryland called
       Long Meadow enlarged containing by Estimation four thousand one hundred and sixty
       three Acres of Land subject nevertheless to the Provisoe that on Payment of y.e sum of one thousand
       Pounds and lawful Interest thereon then the said Indenture should cease and determine
       as by Reverence being had to the said Indenture recorded in the Secretary's office in the
       in the City of Annapolis in Maryland may more fully appear  And Whereas the said
       Frederick Haldimand Devisee and Executor aforesaid of the said Henry Bouquet
       deceased hath fully paid and satisfied to the said Hugh Roberts the aforesaid Sum of      
       Money and Interest thereon according to the Intent and purpose of the said Indenture
       Now this present Indenture Witnesseth That for and in consideration of the Premises and of
       the Sum of five Shillings to him the said Hugh Roberts in hand paid by the said Frederick
       Haldimand the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged He the said Hugh Roberts hath
       granted released and confirmed and by these Presents doth grant release and confirm unto
       the said Frederick Haldimand his Heirs and Assigns All his the said Hugh Roberts
       his Right Title Interest Claim and demand of in and to the said Tract of Land and
       every Part and Parcel thereof  In Witness whereof the said Hugh Roberts hath
       hereunto set his hand and Seal the day and year first above mentioned

                                           On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus endorsed
