       Maryland fs.t   This Indenture made the thirteenth day of July
       in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and seventy three Between William
       Buchanan of Baltimore County and Province of Maryland aforesaid Merchant of the one
       part and Legh Master of Frederick County and province aforesaid Esquire of the other part
       Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of five Shillings Sterling Money of
       Great Britain to him the said William Buchanan in hand well and truly paid by the
       said Legh Master at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
       he doth hereby acknowledge and confess and thereof and of and from the same and every
       part and parcel thereof doth freely clearly and absolutely acquit release exonerate and
       for ever discharge the said Legh Master his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       and each and every of them for ever by these presents he the said William buchanan Hath
       bargained and Sold and by these presents Doth Bargain and Sell unto the said Legh
       Master his Executors Administrators and assigns  All those Tracts or parts of Tracts
       of Land situate lying and being in Frederick County and province of Maryland aforesaid
       commonly known and distinguished by the several and respective name or names of Beauty
       Spot containing thirty acres patented to a certain Benedict Swope on the sixteenth day of May
       which was in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and sixty one and by
       him afterwards conveyed to the said William Buchanan  Also one other Tract or parcel
       of Land situate lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid called Cool Eveining
       containing Twenty five Acres of Land and also granted by Patent to the said Benedict Swope
       and by him also reconveyed to the said William Buchanan and which patent bears date
       the eighth day of August which was in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
       sixty four  Also Part of a Tract of Land called Arnolds Chance containing five hundred
       and six acres of Land conveyed by the said Benedict Swop to the said William Buchanan
       and which had been then tofore conveyed to the said Benedict Swope by one Matthias Ambrose
       and others by three several Deeds of conveyance viz.t the first from the said Matthias Ambrose
       junior by Deed bearing date the eighteenth day of March ^which was^ in the year of our Lord One
       Thousand seven hundred and sixty one the second from Henry Ambrose bearing date the
       sixth day of June One Thousand seven hundred and sixty one ^and^ the third from one George
       Matthews and Maria Barbara Matthews bearing date the Eighteenth day of March one
       thousand seven hundred and sixty one  Also two other Tracts of Land the one called Long Valley
       containing one hundred & one acres The other called Wilson's Delight containing forty nine
       acres and both conveyed by Deed bearing date the eighteenth day of March One Thousand
       seven hundred and sixty one by William Wilson to the said Benedict Swope who afterwards
       reconveyed the same to the said William Buchanan  Also part of one Tract or parcel
       of Land called Lookabout containing one thousand five hundred and thirty five acres
       situate lying and being in Frederick County aforesaid Patented to the said Benedict Swope
