       East and by East One hundred and fifty perches to a marked Oak and from the said
       Oak by a line drawn ^West^ North West two Hundred and fourteen perches and from thence
       by a line drawn South West and by West One hundred and eighty perches then by
       a Line drawn East South East to the first bounded Tree containing and laid out
       for two Hundred Acres more or less and the revertion and revertions remainder and remainders
       rents Issues and profits and of every part and parcel thereof  To have and to hold the
       aforesaid Tract of Land and premises with the appurtenances unto him the said Charles
       Ridgely his Executors administrators and assigns from ^the^ day next before the day of the
       date of these presents unto the full end and Term of One whole year from thence
       next ensuing fully to be compleat and ended To the intent and purpose that the said
       Charles Ridgely may be in the actual possession of the hereby bargained and sold Land
       and premises with the appurtenances and may hereby and by force of the Statute for
       Transfering uses into possession be enabled to take a Grant and release of the revertion
       and Inheritance of the same Land with the appurtenances to him and his Heirs
       to such Uses intents and purposes as shall be therein specified and declared &c.a  In
       Witness whereof the said Katherine Griffith hath hereunto set her Hand and
       Seal the day and year first above written

                                              On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorset Viz.t

       Ap.l 26.th 1773  received of Charles Ridgely son of John the sum of five shillings Current
       Money being the Consideration within mentioned

       On the the 26.th day of April in the year 1773  Katherine Griffith party to the
       within Indenture acknowledged the same as her Act and Deed and the Land and
       premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named
       Charles Ridgely also party thereto his Executors Administrators and Assigns
       according to the True Intent and meaning of the within Deed

       I hereby Certify to all whom it may or doth Concern that Mess.rs Jn.o Dorsey and
       Thomas Dorsey Gentlemen before whom the above acknowledgment appears to have
       been taken were at the time of taking the same two of his Lordships the Right Honble
       the Lord proprietarys Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and that to all
       acknowledgments so taken and by them signed full faith and Credit is and ought to be
