483) given as well in Justice Court as thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal this (seal) 30.th day of April Anno Dom 1773 7 sides Jn.o Brice Clk AA Cot.y C.t afd Recorded the 27.th day of of April 1773 x.d This Indenture Tripartite made this tenth day of March in the year seventeen hundred and seventy three Between Katharine Griffith widow of Orlando Griffith and daughter and Devisee of John Howard of Ann Arundel County deceased of the first part and Charles Ridgely son of John of Baltimore County Gent.n of the second part and Robert Alexander of Baltimore County Gentleman of the third part Witnesseth that for the docking all Estates Tail of and in the Messuage or Tenement and all other the Hereditaments herein mentioned with their appurtenances and all and every the remainder and remainders revertion and revertions thereupon dependant or expectant and for settling the said Messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances to for and upon the uses intents and purposes herein after expressed and declared and for and in Consideration of One hundred and twenty five pounds Current money to the said Charles Ridgely in his actual possession now being by virtue of a Bargain and sale thereof to him made by the said Katherine by Indenture date the day before the day of the date of these presents for one year from the day next before the date of the same Indenture in Consideration of five shillings Current Money paid by the said Charles Ridgely to the said Katherine Griffith and by force of the statue for transfering uses into possession) and to his Heirs all that Tract or parcel of Land called Timber Neck lying and being in Baltimore County af.d and on the North side of Potapsico river and on a Branch called the middle Branch beginning at a bounded Red Oak at the Mouth of a small Gutt that makes the outward narrows of a Neck of Land called the Island and running for bredth by a Line drawn North East and by East One hundred and fifty perches to marked oak and from said Oak by a line drawn west North west two hundred and fourteen perches and thence by a line drawn South west & by west One Hundred and Eighty perches and then by a line drawn East South East to the first bounded Tree containing Two hundred acres more or less (which Tract of Land now is in the Tenure and Occupation of the said Charles Ridgely) and the revertion and revertions remainder and remainders rents Issues and profits of every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances and also all the Estate right Title Interest claim and demand of her the said Katherine Griffith |
