          This Indenture made this twentieth Day of October in the year of our
       Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy Two Between Anthony Stewart of
       The City of Annapolis Merchant of the one part and Edward Amos of Ann Arundel
       County Laborer of the other Part  Whereas Alexander Ferguson late of London
       Town in Ann Arundel County aforesaid deceased Taylor died seised in Fee simple
       Of one Lott of Ground (among others) lying and being in London Town aforesaid distinguished
       in the Platt of the said Town by the Number sixty six having in his Lifetime to wit on or
       About the nineteenth Day of January in the Year of our Lord seventeen Hundred
       and Seventy made his Last will and Testament in Writing and thereof Appointed the
       Aforesaid Anthony Stewart and Certain John Davidson and Elizabeth Ferguson
       Executors & empowered his said Executors to Sell at Their Discretion the above Lott of
       Ground among others;  In Pursuance of which said Will after the death of the same
       Alexander Ferguson the aforesaid john Davidson and Elizabeth Ferguson having
       in usual Form recovered the Execution of the Last will and Testament aforesaid
       of the aforesaid Alexander Ferguson and after Notice given by advertisement to wit on
       The twenty fourth Day of September last past he the same Anthony Stewart did set
       Up and expose to Sale at Public Vendue the af.d Lott of Ground at which Vendue the
       same Edward Amos was the best and highest Bidder at and for the Sum of Eleven
       Pounds ten shillings Current Money Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the same Anthony
       Stewart by virtue of the will aforesaid in consideration of the premisses and of the
       Same Sum of Eleven Pounds ten Shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the
       same Edward Amos at or before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt
       Whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed
       and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and
       Confirm unto the Same Edward Amos his Heirs and assigns for ever all the af.d Lott of
       Ground Lying and being in London Town aforesaid and Distinguished in the Platt of the
       Said Town by the Number Sixty Six as af.d together with all Houses Buildings Gardens
       Improvements ways Easements advantages commodities and appurtenances Whatsoever
       To the said Lott of Ground belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and
       Revertions remainder and remainders rents Issues and Profitts of the Said Lott of Ground and
       Also all the Estate right Title Interest use Trust property claim and Demand whatsoever of him
       The same Anthony Stewart Executor as aforesaid of into and out of the said Lott of Ground and
       Appurtenances To Have and ^To^ Hold the said Lott of Ground & Premisses with the Appurtenances
       unto him the Same Edward Amos his Heirs and assigns to the only proper use
       and behoof of the said Edward Amos his Heirs and assigns for ever and to or for no other use
       Intent or Purpose whatsoever  In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto
       Interchangeably set their Hands and affixed their Seales the Day & year first above written
