428 Received on the Day and year first within written from the within Edward Amos Eleven pounds ten shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid me Anthony Stewart Test James Dick On the twentieth Day of October Seventeen hundred & seventy two came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within Anthony Stewart and acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his act and Deed and the Lott of Ground in the same Writing mentioned with the Appurtenances to be the right and Estate of the within Edward Amos his Heirs and Assigns For Ever according to the true intent and meaning of the same Deed Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer Received the 15.th Day of January 1773 of M.r Edward Amos the sum of one penny Sterling Money for An Ali^e^nation fine due to Lord Baltimore on the within Lott of Ground by Virtue of a Commission from Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esqr his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General Recorded the 16.th Day January 1773 John Brice 7 Sides Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty first day of December in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred & Seventy two Between Joseph Hagan of Charles County in the Province of Maryland of the One Part and Henry Boone of Prince Georges County and Province aforesaid of The other part Whereas a certain W.m Duvall on the Twenty sixth Day of January in the Year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred & Sixty Nine obtained a Grant from the lord Proprietary Issued out of his Land Office under Said date for a Tract or Parcell of Land called Slip in Easy lying and being in Frederick County & Province of Maryland which was afterwards Conveyed To a Certain Thomas Burgey of Fredreck County will more fully & at Large Appear which said Land Was afterwards conveyed to the said Joseph Hagan by the said Thomas Burgey referrence being had To the Records of Fredrick County well more fully and at Large Appear Now This Indenture Witnesseth That the said Joseph Hagan for and in Consideration of the Sum of one Hundred & Thirty Nine Pounds Common Currancy to him in hand well and Truly Paid by the said Henry Boone the Receipt whereof I the said Joseph Hagan do hereby Acknowledge and my self therewith fully Satisfied Contented and Paid hath bargained & Sold & by these Presents do Bargain and Sell unto The said Henry Boone his Heirs and Assigns for Ever all that tract or Parcell of Land Called Slipin Easy Begining at a bounded white oak it being the Begining Tree of a Tract of Land called Josephs Adventure and runing thence South fifty four perches south fifty two Degrees West one hundred and Thirty Six perches North twelve degrees East Sixty Six perches North Ten Degrees West Eighty Eight Perches North Seventy Six degrees West fifty four Perches South Seventy nine degrees West Forty Eight perches North Seventy five Degrees West twenty Perches south fifty six Degrees West forty Perches North Ten degrees East sixty four Perches North Seventy Nine Degrees East Twenty five Perches South Eighty four Degrees East one hundred and Forty Perches North Forty Seven Degrees |
