       This Indenture made the fourth Day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred
       and seventy two Between James Hollyday of Queen Anns County in the Province of Maryland
       of the one part and James Tilghman late of Talbot County in the Province aforesaid but now of the
       the City of Philadelphia in the Province of Pensylvania of the other part  Witnesseth for the Docking
       barring and extinguishing all Estates Tail and reversions and remainders thereupon expectant or
       depending of and in the Lands and Appurtenances herein after mentioned the said James Hollyday
       as Demandant did (at the Costs and Charges of the said James Tilghman) prosecute and sue out of
       his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary's high Court of Chancery his said Lordships
       Writ of Entry sue disseisin en le post against him the same James Tilghman returnable & returned
       to a provincial Court held at the City of Annapolis on the second Tuesday of April last past whereby
       the said James Hollyday did Demand against him the same James Tilghman  All that Tract
       or parcell of Plantable Land called Fausley lying in Talbot County aforesaid on the South ^East^ side of a
       River called Saint Michael's River and on a small branch of the said River called Fausley
       Branch containing Two hundred and fifty Acres of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto
       belonging  All that Parcell of Plantable Land lying in Talbot County aforesaid contiguous to
       the said Land called Fausley which is Contained within and bounded by the following Lines to wit
       Begining at the end of the Second Line of the said Land called Fausley and running thence
       North Seventy five Perches then West and by South five degrees Southerly one hundred and sixty
       four Perches then South to the said Land called Fausley twenty five perches then by and with
       the said Land called Fausley East one hundred and Sixty perches to the place of Begining
       which same parcel of Land was heretofore sold by a certain Isaac Dixon late of Talbot County aforesaid
       deceased to Tench Francis also deceased containing Fifty Acres of Land with the Appurtenances
       thereunto belonging  All that Tract or Parcell of plantable Land called the Addition
       lying in Talbot County aforesaid near the aforesaid Tract of Land called Fausley which said Tract
       of Land called the Addition was heretofore sold by John Edmondson late of Talbot County aforesaid
       deceased to Winlock Christison late of the same County also deceased containing One hundred
       Acres of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging And all that Tract or parcell of Plantable
       Land called Edmonds Range lying in Talbot County aforesaid near the Lands aforesaid
       Containing Four hundred Acres of Land with the Appurtenances thereunto belonging to which
       said Writ the same James Tilghman did appear in his proper person and Vouch to Warranty
       thereof the Common Vouchee who thereupon appeared and entered into the said warranty
       and after Imparlance made Default & such further and other Proceedings were thereon so
       that a good and perfect Common Recovery with single Voucher was had & suffered according to
       the usual Form of Common Recoveries with Single Voucher for assurance of Lands in such Case
       used and accustomed  Now this Indenture Witnesseth that for the Settling and declaring the
       Intent Use and Purpose of the said Recovery so suffered as aforesaid or in any other manner and for
       and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings sterling by the same James Tilghman to the said
       James Hollyday paid at or before the sealing and delivery hereof the Receipt whereof is hereby
       acknowledged  It is covenanted granted agreed and declared by and between the said parties to these
       Presents that the said Common Recovery so as aforesaid or in any other manner had and suffered  
       and the execution thereof shall be and enure and shall be construed adjudged deemed and taken
       to be and enure and is & was meant & intended & is hereby declared to be and enure and that
       the Recoverer in the said Recovery named and his Heirs shall stand and be seised of the aforesaid
       Lands and Premisses and every part and parcell thereof with the Appurtenances to and for
       the only proper Use and Behoof of the same James Tilghman his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       & to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever  in Witness whereof the Parties to these
       Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and seals the Day and Year first above written
