409 whereof I have hereto sett my hand the day and Year af.d Before J Hepburn October the 19.th 1772 Received the sum of Fifteen Shillings and four pence Sterling for an Alienation fine due to Lord Baltimore by Virtue of a Commission from Dan.l of Saint Tho.s Jenifer Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General 8 sides Jn.o Brice Recorded October the 19.th 1772 x.d Maryland fs This Indenture made the twenty first Day of September Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and seventy two Between Christopher Sewill of Baltimore County Inn keeper of the one part and Edward Dorsey son of John of Ann arundle County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that he the said Christopher Sewill for and in Consideration of the Sum of two Hundred and fifty Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid Before the Insealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the s.d Christopher Sewill Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit Exonerate and fully discharge the s.d Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns forever Hath given Granted Bargained and Sold & by these presents do give Grant Bargain and Sell Aliend Enfeeoff and and Confirm unto him the s.d Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for ever two Tracts or parcels of Land lying and being in Baltimore County VZ Abners Delight lying and in the County Afores.d Beginning at two Bounded Hickorys standing on the North side of Soldiers Delight Branch which decends into A Run called the Piney Run and Runing thence North thirty five Degrees East seventy perches North four Degrees west twenty perches North ten Degrees west Forty perches south west Twenty perches then with a straight Line to the Begining Containing and laid out for twelve Acres of Land more or less the other Tract or parcell of Land Being part of a Tract of Land Called and known by the name of Everitts Progress lying and being in Baltimore County Begining For the s.d Tract or parcell of Land at the end of the twentieth Course of the Afores.d Progress and runing with and Bounding on the afores.d Land the sixteen following Courses VZ North ten Degrees East Forty Eight perches North fifty three degrees west Forty perches North thirty Degrees East Fourty four perches South sixty Degrees East thirty four perches South five Degrees East thirty Eight perches South thirty three degrees East Ten perches North thirty nine Degrees East sixteen perches North Seventy Degrees East Twenty six perches North two Degrees west Forty perches North sixty seven Degrees East Fifty perches North Forty Degrees west one hundred and forty seven perches South Seventy five & half Degrees west fifty Eight perches South fifty five degrees East thirty five perches South six Degrees East fifty four perches South forty seven Degrees west Eighty four Perches South thirteen Degrees west Sixty perches And then with a Straight Line to the Begining for one hundred & twenty one Acres of Land more or less Together with all and singular the Premises With there Appertenances thereunto Belonging or in any ways Appertaining To have and to Hold the s.d Bargained Lands and Premises with their Appertances unto him the s.d Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And to the onely use and behoof of him the s.d Edward Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns for Ever And the s.d Christopher Sewill for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators Doth hereby Covenant and Agree to and with the S.d Edward Dorsey his heirs and Assigns for Ever that he the s.d Christopher Sewill his Heirs and Assigns shall and will warrant and for Ever Defend the s.d lands and premices and their Appertainneces thereunto Belonging against all Manner of Persons Claiming or which may hereafter claim Any Right Title or Interest of in or to the same or any part or parcell thereoff from by or under him his Heirs or Assigns for Ever In Witness whereof the s.d Party to these prest hath hereunto sett his hand and affixed his Seal the Day and Year first above written his Signed Sealed & Delivered Christopher C Sewell (Seal) in the Presence of us mark Benoni Belt Ezekiel Jn.o Dorsey The aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Receiv'd |
