386 Land and Premisses with the Appurtennaces To have and to hold the aforesaid part of a Tract of Land and premisses with teh Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Edward Hall Son of Henry his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of teh said Edward Hall his Heirs adn Assigns and to or for no other Use Intent or Purpsoe whatsoever and the said Robert Estham and Ann his Wife ^for themselves their Heirs Exors and Admrs do hereby covenant promise grant agree to & with the said Edward Hall his Heirs & assignst that they the said Robert Estham & Ann his Wife^ and their Heirs the aforesaid Land and premisses hereby granted bargained and Sold or intended so to be and every part and Parcell with the Appurtenances unto the said Edward Hall his Heirs and Assigns against them teh said Robert Estham and Ann his Wife and their Heirs and all and every other person and persons whatsoever claiming or pretending to claim any Right Title or Interest out of or in the said Land adn premisses shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the parties to tehse presents have hereunto set their Hands and affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Signed selaed and delivered In teh presence of (the Words Rob.t Eastham (Seal) of September and teh words Sterling Money being first interlined Anne Eastham (Seal) R Ghiselin W.m Steuart The aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed Viz.t 26.th Sep.r 1772 Received on the Day and Year within written of and from the within mentioned Edward Hall the Consideration within mentioned being two hundred and thirty nine pounds fourteen Shillings Sterling Money Test R Ghiselin Rob.t Eastham W.m Steuart Anne Eastham Sept.r 26.th 1772 Then came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordship's Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County the wihtin named Robert Estham and Ann his Wife and severally acknowledged the wihtin Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed and the land and Premisses therein specified to be the Right and Estate of the wihtin mentioned Edward Hall his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and Meaning of said Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided at the same Time the said Ann Wife of the aforesaid Robert Eastham being privately examined by us and out of hte Hearing of her said Husband acknowledged that she freely and voluntarily released all her Right and Title of Dower of in and to the within mentioned Land and that she did the same freely and of her own Accord and without Fear or Dread of his Displeasure acknowledged before 8 sides R Ghiselin W.m Steuart Recorded the 29.th Day of September 1772 |
