       Dougherty his Heirs Executors or Administrators shall and will well and
       truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said John Bolton his Heirs, Executors, Administrators
       or Assigns the said several Sums of Money and Interest at the Day
       and Time before mentioned for Payment thereof according to the true Intent and
       Meaning of these Presents  In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents
       have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the same Day and Year first above
       written

       Received the twelfth Day of August in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and seventy two
       from the within named John Bolton the Sum of five Shillings Current Money of Pennsylvania
       in full of the Consideration Money                     I say received by me

             Be it remembered that on the twelfth Day of August in the Year of our
       Lord Seventeen hundred and Seventy two before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships the right
       honourable the Lord Proprietary his Justices of the Peace for the County of Cecil personally
       appeared the within named Edward Dougherty and acknowledged the within Indenture
       to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses with all and Singular its Appurtenances
       therein mentioned or intended thereby to be bargained and sold with all his
       Estate Right and Title therein to be the proper Estate Right and Title of the within named
       John Bolton his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the true Intent and
       meaning of the within Indenture taken and certified according to the Act of Assembly
       in this Case made and provided the same Day and Year first above written
