351 Ex.d This Indenture made this fourth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy two Between Matthias Hammond of the City of Annapolis and Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Edward Lloyd of the City and Province aforesaid Esquire of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Matthias Hammond for divers good Causes and Considerations and the Sum of five Shillings Current Money to him in Hand paid by the said Edward Lloyd before the Sealing and delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof & therefrom doth acquit & discharge the said Edward Lloyd his Heirs Executors & Administrators Hath given grand bargained sold aliened enfeoffed conveyed & confirmed And he the said Matthias Hammond for himself & his Heirs by these Presents Doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoff convey & confirm unto him the said Edward Lloyd his Heirs & Assigns all that Lott or Parcel of Ground situate lying & being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid & known & distinguishing in Stoddart's Plott of the said City by the Number ninety Beginning for the Metes & Bounds of said Lott hereby bargained & sold or intended so to be by the said Matthias Hammond at a marked Post standing in the Front of North East Street & at the North Eastermost End of a Messuage or House now in the Tenure and Occupation of a certain Richard Beard Tenant to the aforesaid Matthias Hammond & running thence by & with the Gable End of said House North forty seven Degrees & one Quarter of a Degree West with said Edward Lloyd's Line of the Lott he purchased of Samuel Chase Esquire to the Lott or Parcell of Ground now in the Possession of M.rs Anne Ogle & thence running bounding on & with the said Lott to Prince Georges Street thence with the said Street to it's Point of Intersection with North East Street aforesaid thence bounding on & with the said North East Street to the first marked Post containing one Acre of Land more or less together with all & singular the Premises & Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Lott or Parcel of Ground in any wise belonging or therewith used or enjoyed & the Reversion & Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents Issues & Profits of all & singular the (Premises) |
