       Maryland to wit Be it remembered that on the twenty ninth Day of April seventeen
       hundred and seventy two came before me one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial
       Court the within named John Roberts and did acknowledge the within Indenture to be
       his Act and Deed and the Lands within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the
       within named Nicholas McCubbin his Heirs and Assigns according to true Intent
       and Meaning of the within Indenture Certified by me

       This Indenture made this twentieth Day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand
6½ sides   seven hundred and seventy two Between William Waters of Baltimore County Mariner of the
p.d   one part and Nathan Waters of Anne Arundel County and Province of Maryland Farmer of the
       other part  Witnesseth that the said William Waters for and in Consideration of the Sum of
       two hundred Pounds Current Money to him in Hand paid by the said Nathan Waters at and
       before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       and thereof and therefrom and of and from every Part and Parcel thereof the said William
       Waters doth hereby release acquit exonerate and discharge the said Nathan Waters his Executors
       Administrators and Assigns hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed
       by these Presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Nathan
       Waters his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns all that Lott of Ground belonging to
       him the said William Waters lying and being in George Town in Frederick County and Province
       aforesaid together with all the Houses Buildings and Improvements thereunto belonging, and
       the Reversion and Reversions Rents Issues and Profits thereof and of every part and Parcell thereof
       with the Appurtenances to have and to hold the said Lot of Ground and premisses with the
       Appurtenances to him the said Nathan Waters his Heirs and Assigns forever to the only Use
       and Behoof of him the said Nathan Waters his Heirs and Assigns forever and the said William
       Waters for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby covenant grant and
       agree to and with the said Nathan Waters his Heirs and Assigns that he the said William
       Waters and his Heirs the aforesaid hereby bargained and sold Lott of Ground and Premisses with
       the Appurtenances unto the said Nathan Waters his Heirs and Assigns as well against
       him the said William Waters as against all and every other Person and Persons claiming
