       the Afternoon of the same Day he the said John Buchanan did set up &
       expose to Sale by Way of Public Vendue at the House of John Orrick at the Sign
       of the Kings Arms in Baltimore Town in Baltimore County aforesaid All the said
       undivided fourth Part or Share of & in the said several Tracts or Parcels of Lands
       Hereditaments & Premises Mines Oar Works Houses Tenements Erections Buildings
       Cattle Forges Goods Utensils Implements Stock Negroes & other Things Ways
       Waters Water Courses Plantations Trees Woods Under Woods Commons Common of
       Pasture Profits Commodities Rights Liberties Advantages & Appurtenances
       Public Notice of the Time & Place of the said Vendue being first given by
       Weeks successive Advertisements thereof in the Maryland Gazette at which Vendue
       the aforesaid James Dick was the best & highest Bidder at & for the Price & Sum
       of four thousand four hundred & seventy eight Pounds nine Shillings & seven Pence
       Sterling  Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Buchanan
       for & in Consideration of the Sum of four thousand four hundred & seventy
       eight Pounds nine Shillings & seven Pence Sterling aforesaid by him the
       said James Dick to the aforesaid John Buchanan in Hand paid at or before the
       Sealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receit whereof he doth hereby acknowledge
       & thereof & therefrom doth release acquit & Discharge the aforesaid
       James Dick his Heirs Executors Administrators & Assigns & every of them
       by these Presents Hath granted bargained and assigned transferred set over
       aliened released & confirmed  And by these Presents Doth grant bargain sell
       assign transfer set over alien release & confirm unto him the said James Dick
       All the said undivided fourth Part or Share of & in the said several Tracts or
       Parcels of Lands Hereditaments & Premises Mines Oar Works Houses Tenements
       Erections Buildings Cattle Forges Goods Utensils Implements Stock Negroes
       & other Things Ways Water Water Courses Plantations Trees Woods Under Woods
       Commons Common of Pasture Profits Commodities Rights Liberties Advantages
       & Appurtenances herein before mentioned to have been granted bargained
       sold assigned transferred set over aliened remised released & confirmed by the
       said James Wardrop to the aforesaid John Buchanan as aforesaid & by the
       aforesaid James Dick purchased at the said Vendue as before mentioned To have
       & to hold the said Premises herein & hereby granted bargained sold & conveyed
       or meant mentioned or intended so to be with their Rights Members and
       Appurtenances to the aforesaid James Dick his Heirs Executors Admrs & Assigns
