       Number eight, then with said Street Number eight Westerly one hundred & eighty eight
       Feet then running Parallel with Union Street to the Beginning  The Lot Number one hundred
       & eighty eight Beginning at the End of the third Line of Lot one hundred & eighty four and
       running with said Line revers'd one hundred & eighty eight Feet then Parallel with Saint James's
       Street one hundred & two Feet, then Parallel with the first Line of this Lot one hundred & eighty
       eight Feet to Saint James's Street, then with the said Street to the Beginning being the Lots of
       Land drawn by the said John Beall Boardly in a Lottery heretofore had for the Distribution of
       the Lots laid out in the said Town, in Pursuance of a Deed executed by the said Charles Carroll
       to the said Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll & Notley Young, for the Purpose aforesaid, together
       with all & singular the Houses, Out Houses, Edifices, Buildings, Gardens, Ways Waters, Water
       Courses, Commodities, Privileges, Advantages, Premises & Appurtenances to the same Lots of Land
       hereby bargained & sold belonging or appertaining & the Reversion & Reversions, Remainder
       & Remainders Rents Issues & Profits thereof & of every Part & Parcel thereof & also all the
       Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Use, Trust, Profit, Property, Claim & Demand whatsoever
       of the said Henry Rozer, Daniel Carroll & Notley Young, of, in & to the same & of in
       & to every Part & Parcel thereof & Premises with the Appurtenances  To have & to hold
       the said Lots of Land hereby bargained & sold & every Part & Parcel thereof & Premises
       with the Appurtenances to the said John Beall Bordley his Heirs & Assigns to the only
       proper Use & Behoof of the said John Beall Boardly his Heirs & Assigns for ever  In
       Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably
       set their Hands & affixed their Seals the Day & Year first above written

                               On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus endorsed to wit

       Received on the Day & Year first within written of & from the within named John
       Beall Boardly the Sum of twelve Pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration
       within mentioned to be by said John Beall Boardly paid to us

       On the twenty ninth Day of August in the Year seventeen hundred & seventy one came
       the within named Henry Rozer Daniel Carroll & Notley Young before me one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court & acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing
       to be their respective Act & deed & the Lot of Land thereby bargained & sold to be the
       Right & Estate of the within named John Beall Boardly his Heirs & Assigns for ever
       according to the true Intent & Meaning of the same writing & the Act of Assembly
       in such Case made & provided
