       Appurtenances unto him the said Samuel Chase his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       To have and to hold the said several Tracts or Parcels of Land and each of them with
       their and each of their Rights Members and Appurtenances to him the said Samuel
       Chase his Heirs and Assigns To the only proper Use and Behoof of him the said Samuel
       Chase his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to or for no other Use Intent or Purpose
       whatsoever And the said Leonard Hammond for himself his Heirs Executors
       Administrators and Assigns covinants and agrees to and with the said Samuel Chase
       his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that he is now lawfully and solely seised
       of the said several Tracts or Parcels of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances
       to him and his Heirs in Fee simple And the said Leonard Hammond for himself
       his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns further covenants and agrees to
       and with the said Samuel Chase his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns
       That he the said Leonard Hammond his Heirs or Assigns shall and will at all
       Time and Times hereafter at the reasonable Request Cost and Charges in the Law
       of the said Samuel Chase his Heirs and Assigns make and in due Form of Law
       execute all and every such further and other Conveyance or Conveyances Assurance or
       Assurances and such further reasonable Act or Acts do perform suffer and execute as may
       by the said Samuel Chase his Heirs or Assigns or his or their Council learned in the Law
       be devised advised or required for the further and better assuring and Conveying the said
       Tracts or Parcels of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto them belonging
       unto the said Samuel Chase his Heirs and Assigns And also that Elizabeth
       Hammond wife of the said Leonard Hammond shall by proper Deeds or Acknowledgments
       sufficient in Law relinquish & release her Claim or Right of Dower
       of or in the said several Tracts of Lands and either of them In Witness whereof the
       said Leonard Hammond hath hereunto set his Hand & affixed his Seal the Day
       and Year above written

       the Land in the Presence of                                               Leonard Hammond   (seal)

       At the Bottom of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit
      
       On the 9.th Octo.o 1770 Then Received of the within Named Samuel Chase the sum of
       six hundred Pounds Current Money of Maryland the Consideration within
       mentioned                                                                     Leonard Hammond
       Witness  W.m Hayward

       On the ninth Day of October seventeen hundred and seventy Came before Me
       the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named
       Leonard Hammond and acknowledged the within and above Instrument of Writing to be
       his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right
       Title and Estate of the within Named Samuel Chase his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       according to the true Intent and Meaning of the said writing and the Act of Assembly
       in such Cases made and provided            Acknowledged before W.m Hayward

                Received of M.r Samuel Chase the sum of Nineteen Shillings and nine
       pence Sterling for use of Lord Baltimore for the within Land by Virtue of a
       Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and
       Receiver General                                                                  Jn.o Brice
