       Know all persons to whom these presents shall or may concern that I James Russell of the City of
       London Merchant for divers good Reasons and Considerations me hereunto moving have appointed
       Constituted and Authorised and in my Stead and Place deputed and by these presents do appoint
       Constitute and Authorise and in my Stead and place depute Charles Grahame of Calvert County in the
       Province of Maryland to be my true and lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name and to my
       own proper use and behoof to ask Demand and require sue for Assign Recover and Receive all such
       Debts Duties Sum and Sums of Money Rents Yearly Payment Goods and Chattles or other Demands
       of any kind or sort whatsoever which now are or hereafter shall be due payable or any way belonging
       unto me by or from any person or persons whatsoever or howsoever and for Default of payment of any
       Rent or Rents which now is or hereafter may be due unto me to enter into all or any of my Messuages
       Lands Tenements or Hereditaments and take possession of all or any part thereof or distrain for
       the same And to contract for, Lett, Bargain or Sell all or any of my Messuages Lands Tenements or
       Hereditaments Goods or Chattles whatsoever as he shall think fit And for that purpose in my Name
       to Seal acknowledge and Execute any Deeds or other Instruments of writing of any nature purport or kind soever
       and to pay any Sum or Sums of Money lawfully due from me to any person or persons whatsoever and to sue Implead
       or make answer prosecute or defend in any Court of Law or Equity any Suit Action matter or cause for me or
       against me as the case shall require and to deal and intermeddle in any business any way concerning me as my
       Factor or Agent otherwise Giving and Granting by these presents to my said Attorney my full and lawfull
       Power and Authority in the Execution and performance of all and Singular the Premisses and to make any
       composition or agreement for or concerning the same and to make Seal and Deliver any Discharge or
       Acquittance for me and in my Name as shall be requisite and an Attorney or Attorneys under him to
       make and at his pleasure to revoke and generally to do determine and execute all and every such further
       and other lawfull and reasonable Act and Acts Devise and Devises whatsoever which in & about the
       premisses shall to my said Attorney seem fit to be done as fully and amply as I my self might or
       could do if personally present Ratifying Allowing and Confirming whatsoever my said Attorney
       shall lawfully do or cause to be done in my Name by force hereof In Witness whereof I have
       hereunto set my Hand and seal the Twenty third Day of February in the Year of our Lord One
       Thousand seven hundred and seventy

                      At the bottom of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

       On the 2.d day of May 1770 Came Alexander Christie and made Oath on the Holy Evangels
       that he saw James Russell party to the foregoing power of Attorney Sign Seal and
       Deliver the same and that he the said Christie and James Buchanan Subscribed their
       Names as Evidences thereto

       Maryland Sc.t This Indenture made the sixteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord
       one thousand seven hundred and seventy between Mary McCullock & Anthony Stewart Executors
       of the testament and last will of David McCullock late of Baltimore County Merchant deceased
       of the one part and James Russell of London Merchant by his Attorney Charles Grahame of
       Calvert County Gentleman of the other part Whereas The above named David McCullock was in his life
       time seized in Fee Simple of two lotts of Land and a small parcel of land thereto contiguous lying
       in the town of Joppa in Baltimore County Maryland known & distinguishd by number four &
       eighteen & another small parcell of Land thereto contiguous  And Whereas the said David
