       Also at times Came Esther the Wife of William Buchanan Mary the Wife of
       William Moore and Susannah the Wife of Benedict Swope who being by us
       privately Examined apart from their said Husbands Did declare & acknowledge
       all their Right of Dower in the within Bargained Lands and Premises to be
       the Estate Right Title Interest and property of the said John Moore his Heirs
       and Assigns forever And at the same time did Declare that they made such
       Acknowledgment of their own free and Voluntary will and Accord without being
       thereto Compelled or Induced by fears threats or ill Usage of their said Husbands
       or thro' fear of their Displeasure As Witness our Hands

       12.th of April 1770  Benedict Swope acknowledged this Deed before Philip Thomas Lee
                         Received the sum of twelve Shillings Sterling Money for use of Lord
       Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within land by Virtue of a
13½ sides   Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq his said Lordships Agent and

       This Indenture made the Thirteenth day of April one Thousand seven hundred
       and seventy Between George Becraft of Frederick County and Province of
       Maryland Planter of the one part and Nicholas Maccubbin of the City of Annapolis
       in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other part Witnesseth the said George
       Becraft for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred & thirty three Pounds
       six Shillings and eight pence Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand
       paid at or before the Ensealing and delivery hereof by the said Nicholas
       Maccubbin well and truly paid the receipt of which the said George Becraft
       Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part and Parcel thereof Doth
       clearly Acquit release and Discharge the said Nicholas Maccubbin his
       Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them for ever by
       these Presents the said George Becraft Doth grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoff
       and Confirm unto the said Nicholas Maccubbin his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land called the Resurvey on Justices
       Delight which was granted unto the aforesaid George Becraft on or about the
       Eighteenth Day of April Seventeen Hundred and Sixty eight lying and being in
       Frederick County aforesaid Containing one Thousand and twelve Acres of     
       Land more or Less reference being had to the aforesaid Grant may more fully
       and at large appear Except what he has Conveyed to sundry Persons being
       part thereof Viz.t To Philip Greenwalt Eighty five Acres to William
       Dickinsheets one Hundred Acres to Allen Forquhar Two hundred Acres
       and to Simon Merideth twenty Acres and three quarters of an Acre with all
       and Singular the ^Edifices^ Improvements and Appurtenances to the said Land
       belonging or which are Deemed to belong to the said Land and the reversion
       and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and other Profits
