708 and every of them do hereby Covenant Promise grant and Agree to and with the said John Moore his Heirs and Assigns by these Presents in Manner and form following that is to say that the said Bargained Three Parcels of Land with their Premises and Appurtenances is free and Clear of and from all Manner of Incumbrances whatsoever by them heretofore made that they the said William Buchanan William Moore and Benedict Swope and their Heirs shall and will Warrant and Defend the said Bargained three Parcels of Land with their Premises and Appurtenances unto the said John Moore his Heirs and Assigns forever against all and all Manner of Person and Persons whatsoever claiming by from or under them And Lastly that they the said William Buchanan William Moore and Benedict Swope and their Heirs shall and will at any Time or Times hereafter at the reasonable Request proper Costs and Charges in the Law of the said John Moore his Heirs and Assigns make Execute Acknowledge and perfect any other Deed or Deeds of Conveyance unto the said John Moore his Heirs & Assigns for the better and more sure Confirming the said Bargained three Parcels of Land with the Premises and Appurtenances according to the true Intent and Meaning hereof unto the said John Moore his Heirs and Assigns for ever In Witness whereof the said William Buchanan William William Moore and Benedict Swope have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written Mem.d the words by them heretofore made Sealed & Delivered between the tenth & Eleventh Lines from the W.m Buchanan (Seal) In the Presence of bottom And the words Claiming by from or J Bond under them between the Seventh & Eighth William Moore (Seal) David Shriver Lines from the Bottom And the Words according to the true Intent & meaning Benedict Swope (Seal) hereof between the third and fourth Lines from the Bottom was Interlin'd before the Sealing and Delivering of these Presents On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Receiv'd this seventh day of April 1770 of John Moore the Sum of Eight Hundred and sixty Pounds Current Money of Pensylvania being the full Consideration Money within mentioned £ 860 Rec.d P William Moore Witness Present W.m Buchanan J Bond David Shriver Benedict Swope Be it Remembered that on the Seveth day of April 1770 before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Baltimore Came William Buchanan William Moore and Benedict Swope within named and severally acknowledged the within Indenture of Bargain and Sale to their Acts and Deed according to the true Intent & meaning thereof and the Lands and Premises therein mentioned to be Bargained and Sold with all and every their Appurtenances to be the Estate Right Title Interest and Property of the within Named John Moore his Heirs and Assigns for ever (Also) |
