          On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t

       Received the second day of April one Thousand seven hundred & Seventy of the within
       mentioned John Watson the Sum of Two hundred and forty two Pounds eleven Shillings
       Sterling as also the sum of five Shillings like Money it being the full Consideration
       for the with mentioned Two hundred and thirty one Acres of Land
       Witness   J Hepburn                        Received P Thomas Belt 3.d

          Mary.d fs.t 2.d April 1770   Then came Thomas Belt the third part to the within Deed
       before me one of his Lordships Provincial Majestrates for the Province of
       Maryland and acknowledged all and Singular his Right Title property
       Interest Clame and demand of in and to the within mentioned part or parcel
       of Land and Premises with its Appurtenances to be in and belonging
       unto the within mentioned John Watson his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       Agreeable to an Act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided
                                                                               before J Hepburn

       Received of John Watson the sum of Nine Shillings and three pence Sterling
       Money for use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within
       Land by virtue of a Commission from John Morton Jordan Esq his said Lordships
       Agent and Receiver General

      This Indenture made this eleventh day of April in the Year of our Lord one
       Thousand seven hundred and seventy Between Rob.t Peter of Frederick County
       in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one part and John Watson of the
       aforesaid County and Province Planter of the other part Witnesseth that whereas
       the said John Watson by a certain Deed of Mortgage bearing date the Ninth
       day of June in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred & sixty seven
       and recorded amongst the Land Records of Frederick County in the
       Province aforesaid Did Mortgage and convey unto the aforesaid Robert
       Peter his Heirs and Assigns all that part of a Tract or parcel of Land
       lying and being in the aforesaid County on a branch called Slago branch
       Containing Two hundred and forty Acres of Land more or Less it being
       part of a Tract of Land called Labyrinth as also Negroes a Servant Cattle
       Horses Hoggs and Sheep for and in Consideration of the said Robert Peter
       his Discharging and paying sundry Debts for the said John Watson amounting
       in the Whole to the Sum of Two hundred and fifty Pounds Current Money of
       Maryland which the said Robert Peter at the Special Instance and
       request of the said John Watson did pay satisfie and discharge as
       also the sum of five shillings Current Money to him in hand paid by the
       said Robert Peter the receipt thereof was thereby Acknowledged and the said
       John Watson Did grant bargain and sell the aforesaid part of a Tract of
       Land as also the aforesaid Negroes Servant Cattle Horses Hoggs and Sheep
       with a Proviso that if the aforesaid Sums of Money were repaid & Satisfied
