700 unto the aforesaid Robert Peter his Heirs Executors Administrators with legal Interest from the date thereof that then the aforesaid Deed should be nul and void as if the same had never been made or Executed and that the said John Watson should be again seized in fee and Possessed of the aforesaid Tract of Land and Premises Negroes Servant Cattle Horses Hoggs & Sheep reference to the aforesaid recited Deed will more clearly appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the aforesaid Robert Peter for and in Consideration of the aforesaid Sums of Money to him in time paid and discharged by the afsd John Watson the receipts whereof are hereby Acknowledged by the said Robt Peter Doth quit Claim unto release and Discharge him the said John Watson his Heirs and Assigns from every part thereof as also the Land and Negroes Servant Cattle Horses Hoggs and Sheep and every their Appurtenances And the said Robert Peter lays no claim Right nor Title to any part or parcel of the above recited Premises To Have and to Hold the aforesaid part of a Tract of Land containing two hundred and forty Acres of Land more or Less with all its Appurtenances unto the aforesaid John Watson his Heirs and Assigns for ever as also the Negroes Servant Cattle Horses Hoggs and Sheep in as full and ample a manner as if the same had never been Mortgaged nor conveyed unto him the said Robert Free and clear of all Manner of Incumbrances suffered by or through him the said Robert Peter or any other person whatever by his Procurement the Quit Rents only excepted And the said Robert Peter doth further Covenant and agree to and with him the said John Watson that he will at any Time hereafter execute any other Release or Conveyance to reestablish him the said John Watson his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns in as good a Right and Title to the above Mortgaged Premises as if the said Peter had never been Concerned in them or as good as the said Watson had at first Provided there should be any fault in this Release In Witness whereof the said Robert Peter hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and Year above written Sealed and Delivered in the Presence of Robert Goldsborough Robert Peter (Seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Maryland fs April 11.th 1770 Then received of the within named John Watson the sum of one Hundred and twenty nine Pounds thirteen Shillings Current Money of Maryland as also the Sum of five Shillings like Money it being in full for the said Mortgaged Premises within Exprest Witness Received P Robert Peter Maryland fs April 11.th 1770 Then came before me one of his Lordships Provincial Majistrates Robert Peter party to the with Deed and Acknowledged the Land Negroes Servant Cattle Horses Hoggs and Sheep to be the Right and Property of the within John Watson his Heirs or Assigns Agreeable to an Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided 8 sides Recorded 11.th April 1770 taken before me Dan of S.t Tho.s Jenifer |
