685 West Line drawn from a small marked Hickory alledged to be in the Place of the Begining Tree of Rockey Point Now This Indenture ^further^ Witnesseth that the said Thomas Dorsey for the better Confirmation and Assurance of the said Land to the said William Brown and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Shillings Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the said William Brown before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof the said Thomas Dorsey doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said William Brown the aforesaid Tract of Land so conveyed by the said John Ducker (Except as therein Excepted together with all and singular the Houses out Houses Edifices Buildings Gardens Ways Waters Easements Profits Commodities and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Land hereby granted bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be belonging or in any wise Appertaining and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Services of the said Land hereby bargained and sold or meant mentioned or Intended so to be and of every part and Parcel thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust property claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Thomas Dorsey of in to and out the same Land hereby granted bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be and of every part and Parcel thereof To Have and to Hold the said Land herein and hereby granted bargained and sold or meant mentioned and intended so to be and Premises with the Appurtinances unto him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only proper use and behoof of him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Thomas Dorsey for himself and his Heirs doth hereby Covenant grant and Agree to and with the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Thomas Dorsey and his Heirs the said Land hereby granted bargained and sold and Premises with the Appurtenances and every part and Parcel thereof unto him the said William Brown his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Thomas Dorsey and his Heirs and against all Manner of Persons by from or under him or them or any of them shall and will for ever hereafter Warrant and Defend firmly by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Thomas Dorsey hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered John Burgess Jun.r in the Presence of Basil Burgess Thomas Dorsey (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Received this 26.th Day of March Seventeen Hundred & Seventy of and from the within Named William Brown the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned to be by him paid to me I say received by me Witness John Burgess Jun.r Thomas Dorsey Basil Burgess |
