       Watkins his Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said John Hammond
       Dorsey the afsd Sums of Money according to the proviso afs.d will well & truly pay
       In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably
       set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and Year first above written

          On the Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Endorsed Viz.t

       February ^the^ 27.th 1770 Received of the within named John Watkins the Sum of Five
       Shillings Sterling Money being the Consideration Money within mentioned

       February the 27.th 1770 Came before us the Subscribers Two of his Lordships Justices of the
       Peace for baltimore County the within Named John Hammond Dorsey & acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of the within named
       John Watkins his Heirs and Assigns for ever According to the True Intent and
       meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and

       This Indenture made this sixteenth day of November in the Year of our Lord
       Christ Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine Between Brice Warfield West
       Burgess Ruth Warfield Deborah Burgess and Caleb Burgess of Ann Arundel County
       and Province of Maryland of the one part and ^John^ Worthington Warfield of the same
       County and Province of the other part Witnesseth that the said Brice Warfield
       West Burgess Ruth Warfield Deborah Burgess and Caleb Burgess for
       and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty five Pounds Sterling Money to them
       by the said John Worthington Warfield in hand paid The Receipt of which said
       Sum of Money is hereby acknowledged and themselves therewith to be fully
       Contented Satisfied and paid Have given granted Bargained and Sold and
       by these Presents do give grant Bargain and Sell unto him the said John Worthington
       Warfield his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or Parcell of Land called
       Warfield Vineyard lying Situate and being in Frederick County Beginning at
       Three Bounded White Oaks Standing at the Head of a Branch called Burton's  
       Cabin Branch being a Draft of Bennets Creek and running thence south
       fifty nine degrees East one hundred & twelve Perches then south Thirty six degrees
       East one hundred & twelve perches then south Eighty seven degrees West one hundred
       and twenty Perches then North five degrees West fifty six Perches then North ^forth^ Five
       degrees West Seventy four then North seventy three degrees West one hundred and
       ten Perches the North Thirty nine degrees East Seventy two Perches then North
       fifty eight degrees West Thirty four Perches then North Seventy degrees West
       Sixty perches then North Thirty four degrees West fifty perches then North Fifty
       seven East forty six perches then South Sixty degrees East fifty nine Perches then
       North Thirty one degrees East Eighty eight perches then North forty one degrees
       East Eighty perches then South Twenty one and half degrees East Seventy five
       Perches then South four degrees East Sixty perches then South Ten degrees
       West Eighty perches then by a Streight Line the first Beginning Containing
