       Superseedus payable the Tenth day of February Seventeen hundred & seventy
       and at same Time he the said John Watkins did Likewise enter Security for
       him the said John Hammond Dorsey unto a certain Richard Lane of Anne
       Arundel County afs.d for a Sum of Money Depending on an Action in the Provincial
       Court between him the said Richard Lane and the said John Hammond Dorsey
       and for and in Consideration of ^the sum of^ Five Shillings Sterling Money in hand paid
       by the said John Watkins to him the said John Hammond Dorsey at or before
       the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth
       hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth Acquit Exonerate
       and discharge the aforesaid John Watkins his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns and every of them by these Presents hath given granted Bargain'd
       Sold Aliened Releas'd enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth
       give Grant Bargain Sell Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto him the
       said John Watkins his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that Tract or parcell
       of Land called Tibbs united Inheretance Lying and being at the head of a
       Branch of Middle River in Baltimore County aforesaid Containing and
       Laid out for Six Hundred and forty Acres more or Less together with all
       Houses Buildings Gardens orchards ways waters water courses
       Timber Timber Trees woods underwoods Priviledges Improvements
       Advantages and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Tract or Parcel
       of Land afs.d belonging or in any wise Appertaining and the Revertion and
       Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof
       and of every part and parcel thereof and all the Estate Right Title
       Interest use Trust property possession Claim and Demand Whatsoever
       of him the said John Hammond Dorsey of in or to the said Tract or parcel
       of Land afs.d and all and every of the Appurtenances thereunto belonging
       or in any wise Appertaining thereto To Have and to Hold the said Tract
       or parcel of Land with the Appurtenances to him the said John Watkins
       his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said
       John Watkins his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to or for no other use
       Intent or purpose whatsoever Provided always and these Presents are
       upon this Express Condition that if the said John Hammond Dorsey his
       Heirs Executors or Administrators do and shall well and truly pay or Cause
       to be paid unto the afs.d Charles Carroll Esq.r the afs.d Sum of Two Hundred
       and forty six Pounds three Shillings and one penny half penny Sterling
       and all Cost and Charges that shall or may accrue thereon and also all
       the Sum or Sums that shall or may be obtained against him the afsd
       John Hammond Dorsey by him the aforesaid Richard Lane by Virtue of
       the aforesaid Action now depending as afsd with all Costs & Charges
       thereon without any further Costs and Charges whatsoever to him the
       afsd John Watkins his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns
       then these Presents and every Article Clause Matter and thing therein
       Contained shall Cease determine and be Void and the said John
       Hammond Dorsey for himself his Heirs Executors & Administrators
       doth hereby Covenant promise and Grant to and with the said John
