647. Estate Right Title Interest use Possession property claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said John Wilmot of into or out of the said Tracts or parcels of Land and each of them and every part or parcel thereof and that he the same John Wilmot for the Purpose and upon and for the Consideration aforesaid had also given granted bargained Sold and delivered and thereby did give grant bargain sell and deliver unto them the said Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick their Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns all and each and every of the Servants and Slaves of him the same John Wilmot therein after mentioned Viz.t Negro Phillis Bowdley Jacob Rachel James and Ned To Have and to Hold the above named Tracts and Parcels of land and every part and parcel of Them with their and each of their Rights Members and Appurtenances to them the same Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick their Heirs and Assigns and To Have and to Hold the said Servants and Negro Slaves to Them the said Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns In and upon the Trust and confidence Nevertheless that they the same Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns shou'd and wou'd as soon as Conveniently might be after the Execution of the same Indenture and also after convenient Public Notice thereof in the Gazzette sett up and Expose to Sale by way of Public Vendue on the Premisses or at Annapolis all the said Land and Slaves or such part thereof as might be necessary in such Proportions or parts as they the same Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick their Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns should think proper and the same Lands and Slaves or any part thereof so set up at vendue to sell and the same so sold to deliver make over and convey to the respective Purchaser or Purchasers thereof as by the same Indenture reference being thereto had may more Particularly and at Large appear Whereas also the aforesaid Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick within a convenient Time after the Execution of the same recited Indenture and also after Public Notice thereof given in the Gazzette did set up and Expose to Sale by way of Public Vendue at Annapolis all that the aforesaid Tract of Land called Dinah's Good Will containing Three Hundred and fourteen Acres of Land more or Less as aforesaid and the same so set up and Exposed to Sale did sell to the aforesaid Anthony Steuart his Heirs and Assigns who was then and there the Highest Bidder for the same Tract of Land Last aforesaid for the Sums of One Hundred and fifty one pounds Current Money And Whereas also the same Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick in the Sale of the said Land as well as in all other Matters and Things touching or concerning the same did Act and conduct themselves in all Respects strictly conformable to the True Intent meaning and import of the said recited Indenture Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the same Nicholas Maccubbin and James Dick for and in Consideration of the aforesaid Sum of one Hundred and fifty one pounds Current Money to (them) |
