(597) his heirs and Assigns forever according to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided W Young J Beale Howard Baltimore County fs I hereby Certify all whom it doth or may Concern that the Worshipfull William Young & John Beale Howard of Baltimore County Gentlemen who have taken & certified the aforegoing Acknowledgment were at the time of taking and Certifying the same and Still are two of the right Honourable the Lord Proprietary that now is of the Province of Maryland his Justices of the peace for the County afd duly & legally Commissioned Authorized and Sworn and ^that^ to all such Acknowledgments by them so taken and Subscribed full faith and Credit is & ought to be given as well in justice Court as thereout In Testimony whereof the seal of the County aforesaid is hereto affixed this L S twenty ninth Day of August in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty nine p A Lawson Clk Balt.o County Recorded the 2.d Day of September 1769 Ex.d Know all men by these Presents that I the within named Lancelot Jacques for and Consideration of the sums of two hundred and thirty five Pounds and nine Pence Current Money and Seven hundred and Eighty Pounds eight Shillings Sterling Money and Sixteen hundred & Seventy three Pounds of Tobacco to me in hand Paid by Thomas Gaunt of Prince Georges County Gentleman at and before the ensealing and Delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and therefrom acquit and Discharge the said Thomas Gaunt his his heirs Executors & Administrators and every of them by these Presents Have bargained sold Aliened released confirmed Assigned transferred and set over and by these Presents Do bargain sell alien release confirm assign transferr and set over unto him the said Thomas Gaunt his heirs and Assigns All that the within mentioned Part or parcell of a tract or parcell of Land Lying and being in Prince Georges County aforesaid called Park Hall heretofore devised by Thomas Gaunt deceased to the within mentioned Fielder Gaunt and Containing four hundred Acres of Land more or less together with the Improvements Previledges rights members and appurtenances to the same belonging or appurtaining & also all the estate right title interest use trust Profit Property Claim and demand whatsoever of me the said Lancelot Jacques of in and to the same together with the within Mortgage and every Clause Article Covenant and thing therein contained or Specified To have & to hold the said Part or parcell of the tract or parcell of Land aforesaid and Premises with the Appurtenances and every part and parcell thereof together with the said Mortgage to him the first aforesaid Thomas (Gaunt) |
