       and Purpose that he the said Abraham Barnes may become a good and perfect Tenant of
       the freehold so as that a Common Recovery may at the next or some Subsequent Provincial
       Court be had and Suffered of and for the said parcell of Land and Premisses with the
       Appurtenances and for that end and Purpose it is agreed by and between all the said parties
       that a writt of Entry shall be Sued in the name of some person as common Demandant
       or plaintiff against him the said Abraham Barnes as Tenant to the freehold of and for
       the said parcell of Land by such Apt description as may be thought requisite unto which
       writt the said Abraham Barnes shall appear Gratis in his proper person or by Attorney
       lawfully Authorized and shall vouch to warranty the said Abraham Tennison and Judith
       his wife who shall also appear gratis in person or by Attorney lawfully Authorized and
       enter into the said warranty and vouch over the Common Vouchee and all such
       other proceedings shall be had as are usual for perfecting recoverys for Assurance of
       Lands ^and^ it is  hereby declared that the said Common Recovery to be had of the said parcell
       of Land and Premisses in manner afs.d or in any other manner shall be and enure
       to and for the use and behoof of him the said Abraham Barnes his heirs and Assigns
       forever and to the other intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Abraham Tennison
       and Judith his Wife for themselves and their heirs the parcells of Land and Premisses
       hereby Sold and Conveyed or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto him the
       said Abraham Barnes his heirs and assigns against themselves the said Abraham
       Tennison and Judith his wife and their heirs and against all Persons whatsoever
       Claiming or to Claim the same by from or under him or them shall and will warrant
       and forever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof the parties to these presents
       have hereunto Sett their hands and Seals the day and year first within written

       On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

       S.t Marys County 13.th December 1768 then came the within named Abraham Tennison and
       Judith his wife before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of the peace for S.t
       Marys County and Acknowledged the within Instrument of writeing to be their Act
       and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein Specifyed to be the Right and Estate of
       the within named Abraham Barnes his heirs and assigns according to the true intent
       and meaning thereof also at the same time Judith the wife of him the said Abraham
       Tennison being by us privately examined apart from and out of the hearing
       of her said Husband did repeat as above and did also freely declare she made
       this Acknowledgment of her own voluntary free will without any threats of or ill
       usage from her said Husband or fear of his Displeasure            John Reeder Jun.r

       Consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds Starlin to me in hand Paid by George Adams
       of Worcester County Planter the recip.t wheereof I do heareby acknowledg have Bargenned
       Sold and delivered and by these presents do bargan Sel and deliver unto
       the s.d George Adams one Shipe Named hannah with hur youtenshels burthened
       about Eighty tun Now lying in the Dock at Annappolis to have & to hold the s.d bargenned
       Premmeses unto the s.d George Adams his Executo.s and Adms.s shall & will warrant and
       forever defend against all persons by these presents the s.d barganned primmesoreys
       unto the s.d George Adams his Execut.s Administ.s or Assigns Provided & Nevertheless
       that if I the s.d Levi Robertson my Exet.s Admins.s and Assigns or any of us do &
       shall well & truly pay or cause to be paid unto the s.d George Adams his Execut.s
