       Assigns doth covenant and agree to and with the said Henry Ridgely that he the
       said Basil Williams his Executors Administrators or assigns shall well and truly
       pay or cause to be paid unto the said Henry Ridgely his Executors Administrators or
       Assigns the full Sum of one Hundred & Sixty three pounds Current Money on
       the first Day of October next with legal Interest for the same from the Date
      hereof In Witness whereof the said Basil Williams hath hereunto Set his
       Hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and year first above written

       On the 23.d Day of May 1769 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships
       Judges of the Provincial Court the within named Basil Williams Party to the within
       Deed and Acknowledged the Same to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses
       therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said Henry Ridgely his Executors
       Administrators & Assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed
       and the Act of Assembly in such Case made & provided      Acknowledged before

       This Indenture made the thirteenth day of December in the Year of our
       Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty eight Between Abraham Tennison
9 sides   of Saint Marys County planter and Judith his Wife of the one part and Abraham
       Barnes of the same County and province aforesaid Gentleman of the Other part
       Witnesseth that the said Abraham Tennison and Judith his wife for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of one hundred twenty Seven and a half Pistoles to them
       in hand paid at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
       whereof is hereby Acknowledged and the said Abraham Barnes his Executors
       and Admrs thereof and therefrom fully Acquitted and discharged have Granted
       Bargained Sold Released and confirmed and by these presents do grant Bargain
       Sell Release and Confirm unto him the said Abraham Barnes his heirs and
       Assigns forever all that part of a Tract or parcell of Land called Brookes Land
       and Pattented by Thomas Courtney called Drapers Neck lying in S.t Marys hundred
       in S.t Marys County beginning at a mark'd white Oak Standing on Chesepeak
       Bay side runing from the said Tree West South West into the Woods to the
       outermost bounds of the said Drapers Neck and from thence so as to
       include all the Land lying to the Northward of the s.d West South West
       line Containing one hundred Acres more or less also one other Parcel of
       Land called Abrahams Struggle adjoining and lying to the Northward of
       the aforesaid Land Containing twenty Seven and half Acres more or less together
       with all and Singular the houses buildings and improvements to the same
       parcells of Land belonging or in anywise Appertaining and all the Estate Right and
       Title of them the said Abraham and Judith of into or out of the premisses and
       every part thereof and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders
       Rents Issues and profits thereof and of every part and parcell thereof To have
       and to hold the same parcells of Land and premisses with the Appurtenances
       unto him the said Abraham Barnes his heirs and Assigns forever to the intent
