Ex.d
       This Indenture made the twenty Ninth day of September in the
       year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Eight between
       John Shelton of the County of Hanover in the Colony of Virginia Gentleman
8¾  and Eleanor his Wife of the One Part and Anne Catharine Green of the
       City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland
       Widow of the Other Part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of twenty five Pounds Current Money of Virginia to the said
       John Shelton and Eleanor his Wife in hand Paid by the Receipt of which
       they do hereby Acknowledge and thereof do Acquit and discharge the said
       Anne Catharine Green her Executors & Administrators they the said John
       Shelton & Eleanor his Wife have granted bargained Sold released &
       Confirmed and by these Presents do grant bargain Sell release & Confirm
       unto the said Anne Catharine Green her heirs and Assigns all that Lott
       or Parcel of ground Lying in the new Town or Addition to the said City of
       Annapolis distinguished in the Plott of the said New Town or Addition
       by N.o T with the Appurtenances of which Lott William Parks formerly
       of the City of Williamsburg Gent was Seized in fee Simple & by his
       last Will & Testament in writing devised the same to his Daughter the
       the aforesaid Eleanor in fee tail who with her said husband John
       Shelton Suffered a Common Recovery thereof in the Provincial Court
       of Maryland to the use of the said Eleanor in fee Simple as by the Record
       of the Proceedings therein may more fully appear with all houses Improvements
       Priviledges and Proffits to the same belonging or Appertaining and
       the Reversions & Remainders thereon depending and all the Estate right
       Title & Interest of ^them^ the said John Shelton and Eleanor his Wife or Either of them
       in or to the same To have and to hold the said Lot of Land & premisses
       hereby Conveyed with the Appurtenances unto the said Anne Catharine
       Green her heirs and Assigns forever to her & their Own Proper use and the
       said John Shelton & Eleanor his wife for themselves and their Respective
       heirs Executors & Administrators do Jointly & Severally Covenant & Grant
       to and with the said Anne Catharine Green her heirs and Assigns that
       they the said John Shelton & Eleanor his Wife and their heirs the said Lot of
       Land & Premisses hereby Conveyed and Every Part thereof unto the said Anne
       Catharine Green her heirs and Assigns against them the said John Shelton
       & Eleanor his Wife and their heirs and all and Every Other Person Whatsoever
