(505) Named Bob Eleven Head of Black Cattle marked with a Crop & Slit in the Right and an Under Cut in the Left Ear twenty Head of Hoggs marked with the same Marks as the Black Cattle fourteen old Sheep and eight Lambs Marked with a Slit in the Left Ear one Gilding Called Gilbert one Gilding called Rock one Mare Called Fancy and one Colt two Feather Beds and Furniture one Iron shod Cart and Horse Harness thereto and all the Household and Kitchen Furniture and Plantation Utensils of him the said Edward Hall To have and to hold the said Part of the Tract or parcel of Land aforesaid and also the said Cropps and other the Premisses to him the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs and Assigns forever and to or for no Other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever And to have and to hold the said Goods and Chattels to him the said Henry Ridgely his Ex.rs Admr.s and Assigns to his and their Ex.rs and Adm.rs doth hereby Covenant and grant to and with the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assigns that he the said Edward Hall the Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid Crops and Premisses and also the goods and Chattels aforesaid to him the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs Executors Adm.rs and Assigns shall and will warrant and defend against all Persons whatsoever Provided always and these Presents are upon this Condition Nevertheless that if the said Edward Hall his Heirs Executors or Administrators do and shall well and truly Pay to the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns the said Sum of three hundred Pounds Sterling Money with Legal Interest for the same on or before the first day of September next then these Presents and every Article and Clause thereof shall cease determine and be Void And the said Edward Hall for himself his Heirs Ex.rs and Administrators doth Covenant and grant to and with the said Henry Ridgely his Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Edward Hall his Heirs Executors or Administrators the said three hundred Pounds Sterling with Legal Interest thereon on the first Day of September next according to the Condition or Proviso aforesaid will well and truly Pay In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably Set their Hands and Affixed their Seals the Day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered Edward Hall (Seal) in the Presence of Elizabeth Ridgely Rich.d Haynes On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed February 20.th 1769 Reced on the day and year first within written of and from the within Named Henry Ridgely the Sum of three hundred pounds Sterling being the Consideration within Mentioned to by him Paid to me (I) |
