(504) be their Act and Deed for the Uses and Purposes therein Mentioned according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Writing and according to the act of Assembly in such Case made and Provided Acknowledged Before Dan of S.t Thom.s Jenifer Recorded the 21.st day of February 1768 sides Ex.d This Indenture made this Twentyeth Day of February in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Nine Between Edward Hall Son of Joseph of Ann Arundel County of the one Part and Henry Ridgely of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Edward Hall for and in Consideration of the Sum of three hundred Pounds Sterling to him in hand Paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receit whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth Acquit and discharge the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened released and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth give grant bargain Sell Alien release and Confirm unto him the said Henry Ridgely his Heirs and Assigns forever all that part of a Tract or parcel of Land Containing One hundred and fifty four Acres of Land more or Less lying in Ann Arundel County aforesaid which was heretofore on or about the Ninth Day of August Seventeen hundred and Sixty three Sold and Conveyed by Richard Warfield to him the said Edward Hall and which same one hundred and fifty four Acres are part of a Tract of Land cAlled Warfields Range Together with all Houses Buildings Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Water Courses Woods Under Woods Profits Advantages Improvements and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Part of the Tract of Land aforesaid belonging or in any wise Appertaining And the Reversion and Revertions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits thereof and also the Present as well as the next Crop of Indian Corn wheat Tobacco Oats and Rye growing and to grow on the said Premisses and all the Estate Right Title Interest use Trust Possession Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Edward Hall of in and to the said Premisses with the Appurtenances And the said Edward ^Hall^ for the Consideration aforesaid Hath also bargained Sold and Delivered and by these Presents Doth bargain Sell and Deliver unto him the said Henry Ridgely his Executors Administrators and Assigns the following Goods and Chattels to wit one white Man Servant Named Abraham Milson another white Man Servant Named Richard Hill one Negro Man Slave (Named) |
