          Maryland fs This Indenture Made this the Sixteenth Day of Novb.r in
       the year of Our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty eight Between John White Senior
       of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and John Botts of the
       said County and Province Joiner of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said John White
       for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Pounds Current Money to him in hand
       Paid by the said John Botts before the insealing and Deliverey of these presents the
       receipt Whearof the said John White doth hereby Acknoledg himself to be fully Satisfyed
       and Content and Paid and thereof and therefrom doth Entierly Aquit and Discharge
       the said John Botts his heirs and Assigns for ever the said John White hath Given Granted
       Bargained Sold Alined Enfeefed and Confoirmed unto the said John Botts his heirs
       and Asygns for ever all that Lott of Ground Lying in the ^the^ Town of New London being Part of
       a Tract of Land Called Timber Ridg the begining of said Lott is at a Marked Post and
       and known by N.o Ten and Acoding to the Plan of said Town Lying in Frederick
       County and Provvnce aforsaid the said Lott Lying on the South West said of the
       Main Street of the said Town and Runs from the Begining South fifty three Degrees
       and a half a Degree West Twelve Perches then North thirty Six and a half West Sixty
       feet then North fifty thre and a half a Degree East twelve Perches and then by a
       Straight Line to the Begining for One Quarter of an Acre of Land More or Less
       Togather with all the Singler the Improvements thereon being the Apertaininances
       thereunto Belonging or in anyways Appertaing and to the Only Proper Use of him the
       said John Botts his Heirs and Assigns for Ever and the said John White Doth for
       himself his heirs Executors and Adm.rs doth Covenant Grant and Agree to and with
       the said John Botts his Heirs and Assigns Shall and May have hold Ocepuy and
       Injoy the aforsaid Land and Premisses is free and Clear from all Cost Rents or Leases thereon
       from him the said John White his heirs or Assigns Ever the Quit rents due to the Lord
       Proprietary Only Excepted Warrented and Defended as well Against him the said John
       White his Heirs and Assigns and any Persons Lawfully Claiming or to Claim any Right
       Titel or Intrest to the said Lott of Ground and Premisses aforesaid or any Part or Parcel
       thereof by from or under him the said John White his Heirs and Assigns for Ever in Witness
       Whearof the said John White hath hear Unto Set his hand and Seal the Day and
       Year above Written
       Sealed and Delivered in the Presents
