                                                                     This Indenture made this twenty first Day of October
       seventeen hundred and sixty eight between Richard Davis of Ann Arundel County and Province
       aforesaid of the one part and John Nicholason of the same County and Province of the other
       part Witnesseth that the said Richard Davis for and in Consideration of the sum of forty Pounds
       Sterling Money to him in Hand paid or secured to be paid by the said John Nicholason the receit whereof
       the said Richard Davis doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully Satisfied contented
       and paid hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents doth
       Give Grant Bargain Sell ALien release and confirm unto him the said John Nicholason his Heirs and Assigns for
       ever all his the said Richard Davis his Right Title Interest and property of in and to all that Tract or parcel
       of Land called The Resurvey on Richards Fancy lying scituate in Frederick County Begining
       at a Bounded White Oak standing near a Branch that falls into Potomack River the said Tree being
       a bounded Tree of a Tract of Land called Peach Tree hill and runing thence North sixteen Degrees East
       one hundred and ten Perches then North seventy eight Degrees west seventy Perches then North seventeen
       Degrees East two hundred and ten perches then South forty three Degrees West two hundred and fifty six
       Perches then South ten Degrees West twenty six Perches then South four Degrees East one hundred and fifty
       six Perches then South fifty seven Degrees East forty six Perches then North nine Degrees East fifty six
       Perches then North fifty eight Degrees East fifty four Perches then North eighty Degrees East thirty two
       Perches then by a Strait line to the first begining containing and laid out for two hundred and Eighteen
       Acres of Land more or less together with all and singular the Premisses and Appurtenances to the said Tract or
       parcel of Land belonging or in any wise Appurtaining To have and to hold the said Tract or
       Parcel of Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances thereto belonging unto him the said John Nicholason
       his Heirs and Assigns forever and to no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Richard
       Davis for himself and his Heirs doth hereby Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John
       Nicholason his Heirs and Assigns for ever that he the said Richard Davis and his Heirs shall and will
       from Time to Time and at all Times forever hereafter Warrant and Defend the said Tract or Parcel
       of Land and Premisses with its Appurtenances against all manner of persons Claiming or to Claim
       any Right Title Interest or property unto the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land and Premisses with
       its Appurtenances from by or under him the said Richard Davis and his Heirs but no further And
       the said Richard Davis doth further Covenant for himself and his Heirs to and with the said John
       Nicholason his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Richard Davis and his Heirs shall and will
       from Time to Time and at all Times for ever hereafter do make acknowledge suffer and execute
       or cause to be made done acknowledged suffered and executed all and every such further and other
       Act or Acts Thing or Things Assurances or Conveyances in the Law as by the said John Nicholason his Heirs
       or Assigns or his or their Councel Learned in the Law shall be from Time to Time reasonably devised
       or advised for the further and better Assurance Surety and sure making of all and singular the Premisses
       hereby Bargained and Sold or intended to be hereby Bargained and Sold so that there be no further or
       other warrantee contained therein than to warrant the same from the said Richard Davis and his
       Heirs and all other Persons Claiming by from or under him and his Heirs according to the True
       intent and meaning of these presents  In Witness whereof the said Richard Davis hath
       hereunto set his Hand and Seal the Day and Year first above Written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered
