       fully Satisfied Contented and paid hath given Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened infeoffed and
       Confirmed and by these presents Doth give Grant Bargain Sell alien infeoffe and Confirm unto the
       said John Hammond his Heirs and Assigns for ever all that part or parcell of a Tract of Land Called
       Gaithers Chance Lying and being in Fredericks County and begining for the said part of the said Tract
       of Land at the end of the Eight Line of the said Land and running thence north Ten Degrees
       East forty perches North thirty Degrees East sixty perches north forty Degrees West Sixty perches
       South Seventy one Degrees West one Hundred and Twenty perches south forty Degrees West One
       hundred perches South twenty five Degrees East one Hundred and forty one perches then by a straight  
       Line to the Beginning Containing and now laid out for one Hundred Seventy Seven and a half Acres
       of Land More or less together with all and Singular the premisses and Appurtenances thaire unto
       Belonging unto him the said John Hammond his heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use and
       Behoof of him the said John Hammond his heirs and Assigns forever and it is Covenanted and Granted
       Between the said Thomas Linthicumb Cassandra Linthicumb and John Hammond that the said
       Thomas Linthicumb and Cassandra Linthicumb and thaire heirs the said Land and premisses unto
       him the said John Hammond and his heirs and from and against all and every person or persons whatsoever
       that shall or may Lay aney Claim thairto from by or under them the said Thomas Linthicumb
       Cassandra Linthicumb or thair heirs shall and will Warrant and for ever heareafter defend by these
       presents Clear of all Incumbrances whatsoever and it is further Covenanted and Granted by and
       Between the said Thomas Linthicumb Cassandra Linthicumb and John Hammond that the said
       Thomas Linthicumb and Cassandra Linthicumb and thair heirs shall and will at the request of
       him the said John Hammond and his heirs make Doe or Suffer to be done any other and
       further reasonable Act or Acts thing or things  Devise or Devises in the Law Whatsoever which
       by him the said John Hammond or his heirs shall be thought proper for the Better Suretie and
       more Sure making of the said Land and Premises unto him the said John Hammond his heirs
       and Assigns forever  In Witness whareof the parties first above mentioned have heareunto
       Set thaire hands and Affixed thaire Seales the Day and year first above Written
       Signed Sealed & Delivered

       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed to wit

                   Received 26.th August 1768 of the within Named John Hammond the sum of five Shillings
       Sterling Money being the Consideration within mentioned

       Rob.t Couden                                                                                 Cassandra Linthicum

       On the 26.th Day of August 1768 Came before us the subscribers two of his Lordships
       Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel County the within Named Thomas Linthicumb
       and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing as his Act and Deed and the Land
       and Premises thaire is Containing to be the right and Estate of the within Named
