       And to and for no other Use Intent or purpose And the said Renaldo Monk for himself
       and his Heirs the said Tract or parcel of Land to the said Catherine Rogers and her Heirs shall
       and Will Warrant and for ever defend by these Presents   Provided always and it is the true
       Intent and Meaning of these Presents that if the said Renaldo Monk his Heirs or Assigns do
       and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid to the said Catharine Rogers her Executors
       Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Sum of Fifty three Pounds Eighteen Shillings in Dollars
       at Seven Shillings and six pence Each with Legal Interest for the same together with
       the Charge of drawing and recording this present Mortgage on or before the twenty fifth Day of
       June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Nine then these presents and every Clause
       Covenant Provisoe and Agreement herein Contained shall become and be held deemed and taken
       to be Null and void and of no Effect to all Intents and Purposes ^as^ fully as if the same had never
       been made any thing herein before Contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding  And the said
       Renaldo Monk doth hereby for himself his Heirs and Assigns Covenant promise grant and agree
       to and with the said Catherine Rogers her Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said
       Renaldo Monk his Heirs or Assigns shall and will well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto
       the said Catherine Rogers her Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Sum of Fifty
       three Pounds Eighteen Shillings as aforesaid with Legal Interest for the Same together with the
       Charge of drawing ^and^ recording this presents Indenture at the time herein before for that Purpose Mentioned
       In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto Interchangeably Set
       their Hands and Seals the Day and year first above written

          Be it Remembered that on the twenty first Day of July 1768 Renaldo Monk Acknowledged
       the within Instrument of Writing as his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein
       Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the said Catherine Rogers her Heirs and Assigns
       Received the 20.th Day                         Acknowledged before me one of his Lordships Justices

             This Indenture Made This twenty Sixth Day of August Anno Domini One
       Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty eight Between Thomas Linthicumb and Cassandra
       Linthicumb of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and John
       Hammond Son of Thomas John of the said County and Province of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said Thomas Linthicumb and Cassandra Linthicumb for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling Money to them in hand paid by the said john
       Hammond the receipt whereof they Doth hereby Acknowledge and them selves to   be
