       Clause Matter and Thing therein Contained shall cease determine and be void   And the said John
       Hammond Dorsey for himself his Heirs Executors and Adm.rs doth hereby Covenant promise and
       grant to and with the said John Buchanan his Executors Adm.rs and Assigns that he the said
       John Hammond Dorsey the last afs.d Sum of Money according to the Proviso afs.d will well & truly
       pay      In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands
       and Affixed their seals the Day and year first above written

       August 10.th 1768  Came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial
       Court the within named John Hammond Dorsey and acknowledged the within Instrument
       of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands therein mentioned to be the right and estate of
       the within named John Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns forever and the Negroes within mentioned
       to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Buchanan his Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assigns
       According to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Case
       made and provided

             This Indenture Made the Twenty first Day of July One Thousand seven Hundred and
       Sixty Eight  Between Renaldo Monk of Baltimore County Planter of the One Part and Catherine
       Rogers of the same County of the Other part  Witnesseth that the said Renaldo Monk for and in
       Consideration of the Sum of Fifty three Pounds Eighteen Shillings in Dollars at Seven Shillings & Six
       pence   Each to him in Hand paid by the said Catherine Rogers the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       Hath granted bargained and sold and by these Presents Doth grant Bargain and Sell unto
       the said Catherine Rogers  All that Tract or parcel of Land Called Monks Discovery lying and
       being on Jones Falls in the County Aforesaid Containing Twenty Acres of Land more or Less together
       with all Buildings Improvements Gardens Orchards Ways Waters Warter Courses Commodities Easements
       Priveleges and Appurtenances Whatsoever to the said Tract or parcel of Land belonging or in
       any Wise Appertaining And the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and
       Profits of the said Premisses and every part thereof And all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust
       Property Claim and Demand of him the said Renaldo Monk of in and to the same Premisses and
       every Part thereof  To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land and all and
       Singular the Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said Catherine Rogers her Heirs and Assigns
       to the Only proper Use and Behoof of the said Catherine Rogers her Assigns and Heirs forever
