       of her said Husband freely gave up her Right of Dower to the within
       mentioned one hundred Acres without the fear or Displeasure of her said

       This Indenture made this thirty first Day of October Anno Domini one
       thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Between Thomas Sappington of Ann Arundel
       County and Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one part and Philip
       Hall of the County and Province aforesaid planter of the other part
       witnesseth that the said Thomas Sappington for and in Consideration
       of the sum of Ninety Pounds sterling Money of Great Britain to him in
       hand paid by the said Philip Hall at and before the Ensealing and Delivery
       of these presents the receit whereof he the said Thomas Sappington doth
       hereby acknowledge himself therewith to be fully Contented and paid
       and thereof and every part and parcel thereof doth Clearly Acquit and
       discharge the said Philip Hall his Heirs Executors Administrators
       and Assigns for Ever and by these presents hath granted bargained
       sold aliened enfeofed and by these presents doth fully clearly and
       absolutely give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoff and confirm unto the said
       Philip Hall his Heirs and Assigns forever All that Tract or parcel of Land
       being part of a Tract of Land Called flag Bottom lying and being
       in Prince Georges County between the paint and piney Branch Beginning
       at a marked Chesnut and at a Corner of the head line of the said Tract of
       Land Called flag Bottom and runing thence south sixty five deg.s East
       thirty four perch.s South thirty six deg.s west one hundred and sixty eight
       perch.s south eight deg.s west one hundred and seventy three perch.s North
       sixty five Deg.s west thirty five perches North one hundred and eighty four
       perch.s south sixty one deg.s west one hundred and twenty seven perch.s
       North fifteen degrees and a half degree west ninety one perch.s North sixty deg.s
       and a half degree East one hundred and twenty six Perch.s South seventy one
       deg.s East forty three perch.s then by a streight line to the first Begining
       Containing and laid out for Two hundred Acres of Land more or less
       with all and singular the rights and Members jurisdiction and Appurtenances
