       and barring of all Estates Tail of and in all that Tract of Land called South
       Conton and all other the Hereditaments herein mentioned with their Appurtenances
       and all and every the Remainder and Remainders thereupon dependant or
       expectant and for settling the said Tract or parcel of land and other the Hereditaments
       with their Appurtenances to for and upon the Uses Intents and purposes
       herein after particularly expressed and declared and for and in Consideration of five
       shillings sterling to them severally in Hand paid by the said Jeremiah Townley Chase
       at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
       acknowledged and for other good Causes and Considerations hereunto moving they the
       said Thomas Sheredine and Ann his wife and the said John Cromwell Have bargained
       sold and released and by these presents Do bargain sell and release unto the said Jeremiah
       Townley Chase (in his actual possession now being by virtue of a Bargain and
       Sale thereof to him by Indenture Dated the Day next before the Day of the Date
       of these presents for one year from the Day next before the Date of the same Indenture
       in Consideration of five shillings sterling paid by the said Jeremiah Townly Chase
       to the said Thomas Sheredine and Ann his wife and the aforesaid John Cromwell and
       by force of the statute for transferring uses into Possession) and to his Heirs All that
       Tract or parcel of Land called South Conton lying in Ann Arundel County aforesaid
       and Containing five hundred Acres of Land and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder
       and Remainders Rents Issues and Profits of the same and every part and parcel thereof
       with their and every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances To have and to
       hold the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land called South Conton and all and singular
       other the premisses herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby released with their
       Appurtenances unto the said Jeremiah Townly Chase his Heirs and Assigns To the use
       and behoof of him the said Jeremiah Townly Chase his Heirs and Assigns forever  Yet
       Nevertheless to the Intent that by Virtue of the said Indenture of Bargain and
       Sale and of these presents he the said Jeremiah Townly Chase may be and become
       a good and perfect Tenant of the immediate Freehold and Inheritance of all and singular
       the said hereby released premisses with their Appurtenances against whom a Common
       Recovery may be had perfected and executed in such manner as is herein after mentioned
       And for that purpose it is Covenanted Concluded and agreed by and between all the
       said parties to the said presents that it shall and may be lawful to and for the said
       Samuel Chase before the first Day of the ensuing Provincial Court to prosecute
       out of the high Court of Chancery one or more writ or writs of Entry sur Disseisin en
       le post against the said Jeremiah Townly Chase returnable to the next Provincial Court
