       him self his heirs Executors and Administrators Doth covenant grant and Agree to
       and with him the said Nicholas Maccubbin his heirs and Assigns by these presents
       that the said John Crew and his Heirs shall and will from time to time and at
       all times hereafter warrant and defend the aforesaid Land and premisses with the
       Appurtenances herein before Granted bargained sold Aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed
       from and against all manner of Person or Persons whatsoever  Provided Always
       and it is the true intent and meaning of these presents that if the said John Crew
       his heirs Executors or Administrators shall well and truly pay unto the said
       Nicholas Maccubbin his Executors Administrators or Assigns the said sum of
       One hundred and fifty Pounds Current Money At the Dwelling House of the
       said Nicholas Maccubbin in the City aforesaid with legal Interest thereof at or
       upon the sixth day of October next that then these presents shall be Void and of
       none Effect otherwise to be and remain in full force and the said John Crew do
       by these presents bind himself his heirs Executors and Administrators to pay
       the said Money and Interest Accordingly and the Charges of drawing and
       Recording the said Mortgage   In Witness whereof the said John Crew hath
       hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and Year first above written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered
       in the Presence of                                                         Jn.o Crew
       John Rawlings, Rachel Tolbot

                On the Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Endorsed to wit

       Received the day and Year within mentioned of the within named Nicholas
       Maccubbin the within mentioned sum of One hundred and fifty Pounds
       Current Money it being the Consideration ^Money^ of the with Deed
8 sides   £150  0  0
       Witness  John Rawlings                                                Jn.o Crew

       On the 8.th Day of October one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven
       Came the within Named John Crew before   the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and did Acknowledge the Land
       and Premisses therein Bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed to
       be the Right title Interest and Estate of the within named Nicholas Maccubbin
       his heirs and Assigns According to the true intent and meaning of the within Deed
       and the Act of Assembly in such Cases made and Provided         B Hands

          Recorded the 20.th Day of October 1767
