       against him and them and all persons claiming under
       him them any or either of them to the said Stephen West
       his heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and forever
       defend by these presents  In Witness whereof the said Roger
       Boyce hath hereunto set his Hand and Affixed his seal
       the Day and year first above mentioned

       On the Back of the Aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       October 29.th 1765  Then received of the within named Stephen West the   £
       sum of fifty pounds sterling being the Consideration Money within               50 ster
       mentioned
       Test                                                               Ro.r Boyce
             Tho.s Franklin

       Baltimore County October 29.th 1765  Then Came before us the subscribers
       two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County aforesaid
       the abovenamed Roger Boyce who acknowledgd the within
       Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right Title and Estate of
       the abovesaid Stephen West his heirs and assigns forever and at the
       same time came also Rebecca the wife of the above Named
       Roger Boyce who being by us privately and apart from her said
       Husband examined acknowledgd she freely willingly and of her
       own accord released her Right of Dower of in and to the Land and
       Premisses in the Above Deed mentioned without being induced
       thereto by her said Husband or through Fear of his Displeasure
       Taken and Acknowledged The Day and year aforesaid according
       to Law      before                               Tho.s Franklin   Walter Tolley

       Baltimore County fs.t I do hereby certify that Mess.rs Thomas
       Franklin and Walter Tolley before whom the above Deed is certified
       to be acknowledged are Justices of the Peace for the county af.d
                      duly commissioned and sworn and that due faith & credit is
       (seal)       & ought to be given to all Things by them so certified In Testimony
       whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal of office this 29.th October 1765
