(252) Ex.d This Indenture made and Indented this Eight day of May in the year of our Lord Christ Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven between James Edmonston of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Planter Son and Devisee of Captain James Edmonston Late of the Same County Deceased of the one part and Richard Henderson of the same county merchant of the other part Witnesseth That the said James Edmonston for and in consideration of the Sum of thirty two pounds eight Shillings Sterling money of Great Brittain to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Given Granted Bargained sold Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents he the said James Edmonston doth Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Richard Henderson his heirs and assigns all that tract or Parcel of Land which was Granted by Patent to the said Captain James Edmonston on or about the Sixth day of July in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty nine and called Silent Grove Beginning in the Given Line of a tract of Land called the Gore in the county aforesaid near Bladensburgh the said beginning being East North East from the Beginning Tree of a Tract of Land called Yarrow and running thence west South west forty there perches and half a perch South twenty four and a half degrees west Twenty eight perches South fifty eight degrees west Fifteen perches South Eighty three Degrees west Twelve perches South Ten perches South Thirty degrees East Eighty perches East Eighteen Perches then by a Streight line to the beginning containing Thirty Seven Acres More or less together with all the Improvements Advantages and Appurtenances to the said tract of Land belonging or Deemed to belong or in any wise Appertaining or Deemed to Appertain and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profitts thereof and all the Estate Right Title and Interest use Trust Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said James Edmonston of in and To the Same To have and to hold all the aforesaid tract of Land called the Silent Grove with the Premisses and Appurtenances aforesaid unto him the said Richard Henderson his heirs and Assigns To the only proper use and Behoof of him the said Richard Henderson his heirs and Assigns for Ever and to or for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever and the said James Edmonston Doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Richard Henderson That he the said Richard Henderson his heirs and assigns Shall and may at all times hereafter quietly and peaceably Hold Occupy and Possess the aforesaid Tract of Land called Silent Grove with the premisses |
