(253) premisses and Appurtenances aforesaid free and clear of every Incumbrance and Charge whatsoever And further that he the said James Edmonston his heirs Executors and Administrators the aforesaid tract of Land Called Silent Grove with the premisses and Appurtenances afs.d unto him the said Richard Henderson his heirs and Assigns against all and Every Person and Persons whatsoever Shall and will for Ever Hereafter well and truly warrant and Defend And the said James Edmonston doth farther covenant and agree to and with the said Richard Henderson that he the said James Edmonston and his heirs Shall and will at all times hereafter at the reasonable request and at the proper Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Richard Henderson his heirs or Assigns make Do Suffer and Execute and Cause to be made Done Suffered and Executed all and every Such other and farther Act Acts Deed Deeds Assurance Assurances Conveyances or Recoveries as Shall by the said Richard Henderson his heirs or assigns or his or their council Learned in the Law be reasonably Devised Advised or Required for the farther or better Assuring unto the said Richard Henderson his heirs and Assigns a Good Sure and Indefeasible Right of Inheritance in Fee Simple To and in the tract of Land aforesaid called Silent Grove In Witness whereof the said James Edmonston hath hereto set his hand and Seal Sealed and Delivered in the William Clagett presence of us) the words (called James Edmonston (Seal) the Silent Grove being first interlined And.w Leitch witnesses On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed viz.t Received of Richard Henderson the Sum of Thirty two pounds Eight Shillings Sterling Money of Great Britain being the consideration mentioned in the within Deed Witness my hand this Eight day of May 1767 Test William Clagett, And.w Leitch Jos.a Beall James Edmonston Maryland Prince Georges County Sc.t Be it remembered that on the Eight day of May in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven Personally appeared before us two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the county aforesaid James Edmonston the son of Captain James Edmonston late of the said county Deceased And acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed And the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Richard Henderson his heirs and assigns according to the Intent and meaning of the Same Deed And the Act of Assembly for Such Cases made and Provided Taken and Acknowledged the Day and year |
