(243) of in and to the af.d Tract of Land is clearly and Absolutely extinguished and that the said Valentine Shroyner is thereof seized and possessed to the use of him and his heirs and Assigns as in his former Estate Know Ye therefore that I the said Conrod Merkel have remised released and by these presents Do for me my heirs and Executors remise and release and quit Claim unto the said Valentine Shroiner and his heirs forever All my Right Estate Claim use possession Reversion Remainder and Demand whatsoever which I ever had or now have or which my heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs my have of in or to the af.d Tract of Land and also all and all manner of Actions Suits Debts and Demands whatsoever which the said Conrod Merkel heretofore had or now hath against the said Valentine his Heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs or any of them for or on Account of the said Land (excepting a Note of Hand for twelve Pounds) In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this 29.th June 1767 Conrod Merkell (Seal) Sealed & Deliv.d in presence of R Ghiselin 2 sides Richard Butler Recorded the 29.th June 1767 Ex.d This Indenture made this Second Day of July Seventeen hundred and Sixty Seven Between John Brice of the City of Annapolis Son and heir at Law to John Brice Esquire of said Co.ty lately deceased and Sarah Brice of the said City Executrix of the last will and Testament of the said John Brice Esquire of the one part and Edward Norwood of Baltimore County Planter of the other part Whereas the said Edward Norwood by his Deed of Mortgage bearing Date the Ninth Day of March Seventeen hundred and sixty Six made and execute between him the said Edward Norwood and the aforesaid John Brice Esquire lately deceased did for the consideration therein mentioned grant bargain and Sell by way of Mortgage to the said John Brice Esquire lately deceased and his heirs among other Tracts of Land a Tract of Land called Batchelors Fare containing One hundred and twenty Acres of Land and lying and being in Baltimore County Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Brice Heir at Law as aforesaid and the said Sarah Brice Executrix as aforesaid for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Sterling in hand paid by the said Edward Norwood have and each of them hath granted remised released and quitted Claim And by these Presents do and each of them doth grant remise release and quit Claim unto him the said Edward Norwood his heirs and Assigns forever all the aforesaid Tract of Land called Batchelors Fare containing as aforesaid One hundred and |
