(132) Received the 6 September 1766 of M.r John Brice Junior Twenty six shillings and Ten pence sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Lands and by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General John Davidson 6½ sides Recorded 6.th September 1766 Ex.d This Indenture made the Second Day of September in the year Seventeen hundred and Sixty Six Between Thomas Durbin of Gun powder neck in Baltimore County Planter of the one part and John Beale Bordley (otherwise Sometimes called Beale Bordley) of the Same County of the other part Witnesseth That the said Thomas Durbin for and in Consideration of Sixty one pounds and Ten Shillings Current Money by the said John Beale Bordley to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Thomas Durbin (party to these Presents doth hereby Acknowledge and release and Acquit the said John Beale Bordley and his heirs Executors and Administrators Hath Granted bargained and Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents he the said Thomas Durbin (Party hereto Doth Grant Bargain and Sell Alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto the said John Beale Bordley and his heirs and assigns all that Piece Parcel of Tract of Land being all That part of a Tract of Land called Preston's Deceit which Thomas Durbin father of the said Thomas Durbin (Party hereto) died seized and possessed of and which by the Death of the said Thomas Durbin the father hath descended to the said Thomas Durbin (Party hereto) as son and heir at Law of the said Thomas Durbin the father and also being what Lemuel Baker derived from his father Charles Baker deceased and Afterwards Sold to the said Thomas Durbin the father in his Life time lying and being in Gunpowder Neck in Baltimore County aforesaid together with all the Estate Right Title Interest Use Trust Property and Claim of the said Thomas Durbin (party hereto) and all Houses Orchards fencing and Improvements thereto belonging and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents and Profits thereof To have and to hold the said bargained Land and Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said John Beale Bordley and his heirs and Assigns for Ever and to or for no other use or purpose whatsoever And the said Thomas Durbin (Party hereto) for himself and his heirs Executors and Administrators doth hereby covenant and promise to and with the said John Beale Bordley and his heirs and Assigns (That) |
